Hi Cody & Izza nice buddies. The talking parrot was hilarious, she/or he made us laughed. We are not aware(most Pinoys) that there is an alluring mini zoo back there in Maasin. Impressive vid shots. Thanx for sharing. New sub here. 😉 👊✌ 👏👌 💞

Hello guys, if you plan to visit again to Maasin City and to get your driver license, I highly recommend you guys this place that I have been there too. 1. St. Francis Javier Chapel at Barangay Hanginan Maasin City, the said chapel is not just a tourist destination but it is a tradition that we will pass from generations to generations . Hanginan - one of Maasin Citys’ well-known barangay. It is famous as it houses the miraculous chapel of St. Francis Javier (known as the co-founder of the Society of Jesus, companion of St. Ignatius of Loyola and one of the first seven Jesuits who took vows of poverty and chastity at Montmartre, Paris in1534). This chapel is believed to be a phenomenon as people who have been here claimed that every petition and prayer spoken were granted and answered. By the way to reach the area you have 2 different choices, one is near Living Hope Hospital that road may lead you up to the chapel by walking and tricking with a nice view and the other one is near in ( Southern Leyte Electric Cooperative, Inc. ) it has a signage that leads you up to the chapel and no need to walk, you can bring wonder (motor bike) until to the top and see the beauty. You might stop for a while in reaching the chapel because the awesome views of the mountain may disturb your attention and you will gonna flew the drone. HAHA 2.Our lady of the Assumption shire (Mama Mary Shrine) The Lady of Assumption at the Jalleca Hills is the tallest private-owned shrine in the Philippines. The statue itself and the nearby chapel can be reached by using a stairway with more than 300 steps and is located in Barangay Mantahan at 104 meters above sea level. It is one of the most visited religious landmarks in Southern Leyte. This impressive landmark can be seen already from afar not only during daytime but even at night as it is illuminated. The Mama Mary Shrine is facing towards the city because whenever there is calamity or a big storm (Super typhoon) the shrine will protect the entire city from devastation that is how miraculous it was. (The Drone shoot will be good on it) Trust me. 3. Provincial Capitol of Southern Leyte - You must visit it and let me know if you agree of my recommendation . Perfect for photo shooting and drone shoot also. 4. Maasin Port - You can access from Maasin city to Bohol , Maasin City to Cebu City and vice versa. a perfect for Drone Shot. 5. Maaasin City Wet Market, ( I know you like Philippine Market ) you can buy cheap stuff in there. 6.Metro Hiper Gaisano - Where you can relax, buy some foods and stuffs. 7.Panan-awan Airport . Maasin City (I have not been there actually) 8. Libhu Hill Resort and Sport complex. A paradise can be any place where happiness fosters, where creativity grows, where memories begin and where experiences start to unfold. It is an imaginable dream foreseen and a lifetime captivation worth keeping. Taking a glimpse of what barangay Libhu, Maasin City, Southern Leyte has to offer, one will not only be given a thrill of amazement but will also surely get a respite from duties, home chores and other responsibilities. Libhu’s beautiful come-on will take you into a universe of relaxation, calmness, gratitude, and serenity. ( I have not been there actually ) but many of my friends recommend this place, a perfect for Drone Shot. Yes, A drone Shot. I hope this recommendation will help you guys a lot. By the way Don’t forget to wear a helmet, if the enforcers caught you, they might stop you by getting into the place. Have a Safe ride. God Bless.
@@WeWander Your welcome Cody. as long as I can help both of you guys. I am here supporting your channel. You can count on me. (by the way, I have been there also at Maasin Zoo last year, there is another peak uphill, you have missed it, The Mian's Peak, you can literally walk on it to the top and you can probably amaze on what you have seen. there are 2 Cottages up there, and you can see the full view of the Maasin Zoo up above. it would be nice if you have reached the top on it. The drone might capture the best views as it flews above. )
gloria pagdanganan we hope for them to stay healthy and big. If more people will come to this zoo, the more they can take good care of the animals. You can help by sharing this video to your friends and make them to the same.
Cody, you got your license try to get a dual sport bike that fits to explore, you will have a lot of trouble on the scooter specially up in the mountain rocks, squad please advice and help this couple... did i pronounce it right? Cody! "Couple"
Hahaha we have no money to be getting any other bikes right now hahaha. Maybe one day. We wanted a scooter for our bags tbh. It holds more things. One day! haha
The zoo is more in a rainforest environment than seeing the zoos concrete site. The place needs to be care of n the animals needs professional animal caretakers. Nobody knows this zoo does exist. The parrot reminded me of my booboo n wolley (they are cocoktail) Booboo talks n loving bird. Missed them.
Dolly Borromeo hopefully through this vlog more people will know about this place and actually visits it so please please we need your help to grow this channel. Please share it with your friends 🤗

I hate seeing animals in zoos & cages ! they dont belong .Looking at this to see if Lyka the blind Lioness in poor accommodation is still there .since 2018, seems there has been an offer for sanctuary & the Philippine authorities wont let her go ! Shame on them
J. Doubleday The reason why they don’t have the financial means to take care of the blind tiger is because people don’t support the zoo. If a lot of people will only come there, the zoo will prosper and so are the animals because they can take care of them properly

can you visit Gen. Douglas Macarthur the statue next to beach
We absolutely will once we get to Tacloban!
Perhaps you know the answer to this? Why is land travel from Ormoc to Tacloban sifficult and relatuvely expensive?

I see. Hopefully more people will go to this zoo and help it grow. We enjoyed it!

Please don't support this zoo. They are holding a blind tiger in a tiny, filthy enclosure. It's cruel.
J. Doubleday The reason why they don’t have the financial means to take care of the blind tiger is because people don’t support the zoo. If a lot of people will only come there, the zoo will prosper and so are the animals because they can take care of them properly
THAT ZOO IS A DISGRACE !!!!!!Lyka the blind lioness is kept in horrid conditions in this zoo in the Philippines
