Out of all of I-DLE's English versions, I think this one hits the best. The lyrics aren't cringy and makes sense to the song and are just *chef's kiss*
The lyrics paint such a beautiful picture. All of their concepts (winter, flower, fire) are present in this song in a more literal sense. I *love* the metaphor of fire blooming like a red flower. The message of Hwaa is very emotionally strong, describing heartbreak and growth in empowering ways. One of the best english versions I've ever listened to.

crazy how gidle continues to succeed and grow internationally, and their english versions are always masterpieces, yet people always exclude them from the conversation when it comes to big groups. they are the biggest girlgroup not from the big 3 and people still don’t recognize them like they should. when soyeon said, “we are the best of this generation, no one can stop us”we know she wasn’t lying. gidle will go down in the kpop history books as one of the most well rounded, talented and musically diverse groups in 4th gen kpop history and general kpop as we know it, whether others agree or not. edit: stop fighting under this. i said one of the best in kpop, not THE best. when i said the biggest 4th gen gg not from the big 3, i meant solely in fanbase numbers. in terms of follower and views etc, they outperform other non-big 3 4th gen ggs. i was not referring to album sales. i am a huge multi so please know i meant nothing malicious by this comment. but to the ot4 idle stan in the comments, just know all of idle would literally hate you if they know your stance on idle’s members lol.

Why is this version feels higher than the original version to me???? This is so hard to sing this song in English, but they slayed this so well. I'm so proud of them.
Usually when you talk in a non native language, your voice is a bit higher since your vocal chords tend to strain to make the sounds. Once someone becomes a bit more natural and comfortable, it can more mimic their natural tone.

I know what you mean only (G)I-dle could pull it off in eng. version like it's an original english song.
exactly. Their English version is very poetic
Esp not shy and more and more. Its completely awkward (lemme lemme know)
@@truptsecond8579 bout to mention this.. might get bashed haha
Out of all of I-DLE's English versions, I think this one hits the best. The lyrics aren't cringy and makes sense to the song and are just *chef's kiss*
shuhua: i can’t speak english
also shuhua: shouts a ‘flames come alive’ flawlessly
The lyrics paint such a beautiful picture. All of their concepts (winter, flower, fire) are present in this song in a more literal sense. I *love* the metaphor of fire blooming like a red flower. The message of Hwaa is very emotionally strong, describing heartbreak and growth in empowering ways. One of the best english versions I've ever listened to.
right i had to take a minute after listening to the lyrics, their so beautiful

crazy how gidle continues to succeed and grow internationally, and their english versions are always masterpieces, yet people always exclude them from the conversation when it comes to big groups. they are the biggest girlgroup not from the big 3 and people still don’t recognize them like they should. when soyeon said, “we are the best of this generation, no one can stop us”we know she wasn’t lying. gidle will go down in the kpop history books as one of the most well rounded, talented and musically diverse groups in 4th gen kpop history and general kpop as we know it, whether others agree or not.
edit: stop fighting under this. i said one of the best in kpop, not THE best. when i said the biggest 4th gen gg not from the big 3, i meant solely in fanbase numbers. in terms of follower and views etc, they outperform other non-big 3 4th gen ggs. i was not referring to album sales. i am a huge multi so please know i meant nothing malicious by this comment. but to the ot4 idle stan in the comments, just know all of idle would literally hate you if they know your stance on idle’s members lol.

@An An Whistle doesn't have an english version tho
When I got the news that soojin left my heart dropped but I wasn't emotional since I'm not a hard kpop fan. After hearing her voice I feel stupidly sad that I'll never get to hear her sing again with idle. It's my first time crying for a member who left a group, I've always thought that was stupid but look at me now.
Let's hope her a good luck. And that she'll be able to achieve more of her career

They worked with a British singer named Phildel

Definitely... The whole poem but especially soyeon and Minnie verses 💜😍
The lyrics rhymed very well..
Mhm, definitely!

Which make the whole song even beautiful
Why is this version feels higher than the original version to me???? This is so hard to sing this song in English, but they slayed this so well. I'm so proud of them.
It feels faster too
I think there maybe more syllables
Usually when you talk in a non native language, your voice is a bit higher since your vocal chords tend to strain to make the sounds. Once someone becomes a bit more natural and comfortable, it can more mimic their natural tone.
