I am so happy that my church family introduced me to Hope Sabbath School! I am the only Adventist in my family, so studying with you helps me understand so much. Last quarter my oldest brother started asking me questions and I shared The Great Controversy with him. 😊 I have already sent him Steps to Christ as well. Amen. Derek, you just spoke to ME, when you spoke about someone needing a miracle. My husband and I need Divine intervention. My late father was a Freemason. He fraudulently annulled our marriage and threatened my husband, to kill him if he made contact with me. We need Godcto help us with legal support to reverse the fraud and declare us married, again, which we actually are. And for God to heal the hurt my husband is carrying around in his mind.

I can't speak for every Adventist, but I can testify that when I pray with other elders, according to the teaching of Jesus recorded in James 5:14-16, we lay hands on the sick and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We don't tell our great and awesome God what to do, but we believe that He is a miracle-working God.
Sindisiwe, sometimes, it is an act of faith to get off our hands from sick people and leave them to Jesus to touch them with His mighty hand😊. Leave them to Jesus, one on one🙏🏿to avoid the attachment syndrome. It is Jesus who heals not our human hands. Bring them in prayer: enemies, spouses, children, the sick, those in ministry ... Let go to the Author/Great Physician Luke 5:19-20 "Then they let the bed with the sick man on it down before Jesus. 20 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the man, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” Teachers of the Law (disciples), dragged Magdalene to Jesus. The best thing we can do is to bring the sick to Jesus, the Healer😊 Free your hands from the sick and let Jesus take full control of the sick and the one who is bringing the sick/caretaker. To whom it may concern l had a stroke and was having headaches that would not go away. I asked to be anointed and the pastor and the elder put their hands on me and god healed me God is good.

They must have reconciled with God and fellow men and probably became disciples of Jesus.
