The widow wanted to be involved in the work of Christ and with Him as each disciple should be. No matter how little or how much we are able to give, the MOTIVE for giving is what matters most. Most can improve our liberality and generòsity. As our love to Christ INCREASES so will our love to our fellow humans. This impells us to work in harmony with Him for the salvation of souls as the widow did.

As human being we only give when we have extra. But in poverty it is hard to give. This woman give in poverty because she love God and trust in Him and giving all she had is something she did it because of her love to God. Like God he gave his only begotten son because of His love for us. God gave all to save us.
