Our sins are forgiven only if we take advantage of the forgiveness made available by Jesus' death, resurrection ascension and mediation at the right hand of the Father in the Holy place. This is justification the first step in the salvation process. But there is the sanctification process that needs to follow. Our sins are to be forsaken or GIVEN UP. This is necessary for us to stand free in the Investigative Judgment of the Most Holy Place which began in 1844. Our sins must be forgiven/forsaken and blotted out in this judgment. In this regard, We are told to pursue peace with all and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. See Hebrews 12:14 This sanctification process is absolutely necessary for Heavenly living.

For without shedding of blood, there is NO forgiveness or remission of sin. His death made PROVISION for every person who accepts it.
