it's very rare to hear every note so clearly at such high speed, you have an incredibly precise attack

wait .. ! did i just hear the first three choruses of 'tranes giant steps solo played fluidly in essentially one position on a 'semi...? nah, i can't have.... if i did, the transcription, a sign of months of work, is a massive contribution !!

Great job!! Thanks for the trans... I’ve been learning with standard notation. The tab fingerings in some spots are a twister lol gotta figure out what’s gonna work with my fingers. Cheers

How do you sweep man? Every time you change the string when you pick in the good way? Or just when using triads? I just can't decide myself in order to manage to play the coltrane's solo... I come from a pure up and downstroke technique.
If tou could enlight me 😊
    Well, great stuff!

@@wilbermoody Keep playing it as slow as you can, and try singing the notes as you play it. Doesn't matter how long it takes you to play at 100% speed, as long as you focus on the articulation and phrasing it will be very beneficial for you! :)

I’d love to know why most transcriptions have no key signature and just slap in accidentals (as a wind player anyway)

I guess many people don't care about not repeating letters in a scale.

    • @sixmillionaccountssilenced6721

I guess it's because there are like 3 key changes per bar? How would that work with key signatures if you have both flats and sharps there?
