Colin, you do some damn good documentaries and some good investigations in the paranormal field! Congratulations on sobriety! Much love and respect for your strength. I also became clean and sober at the end of 2019. Weird thing is as I have heard of many people becoming clean and sober at the very same time. I believe we were chosen for something that’s coming in the near future to warn others of and tell the stories and show the truth, the reality of this world! Much Love Brother!!!

My childhood friend was found in lady bird lake by a morning runner. His wallet, keys, car and phone were never found or recovered. There was no water in his lungs and he had bruising and injuries on his body. But because he had alcohol and weed in his system they somehow blamed the foul play on his “negligence”. This was not only my friend but the kid I grew up with since I was 5. He moved to Austin shortly after high school. I became so intrigued in his case I did extensive research and I can tell you for certain that this case and many other have been going on for Years if not close to a decade. Having been raised by a detective for 30 years I can also tell you that the most suspicious part of my friend’s case was the way police acted when I drove there from Houston demanding answer. There’s definitely something WIERD going in that city.
Love you, Zachary Ryan Hester. Rip 🕊️

How does someone’s body end up in a lake and not have water in the lungs? Answer: they were already dead when their body went in. Meaning someone PUT him in the lake. How is that not foul play?! I’m so sorry about your loss.

Something is wrong. They found a man in the lake next to my house. We saw the cop cars rolling in. The body was found in the same condition as your friend, the first day the found him they were saying there was no foul play...the cops in my county are usually on point, they hand out charges and raise charges on every person they arrest. If the cops here are willing to not investigate shit because they found a little alcohol in his system, then i have a horrible feeling about austin. This guy wasn't swimming or anything. He was in his clothes, his friends didn't know where he had gone, and they found him in the morning. The whole thing is insane.

In 2018, I was mugged and kidnapped in Austin after turning 21 and going out to 6th Street for the first time. I was left in a ditch next to a construction site with everything taken from me. Honestly, I'm lucky to be alive and this topic is very sobering to me.
I was with some people I wasn't super close friends with and when we started leaving the bars I got separated from the group somehow. At this point my memory was hazy. My family suspects I was drugged, but I was drinking heavily so I could've easily just blacked out. My phone was about to die and I was trying to call an Uber alone. A car pulled up and said they were my Uber and I got in.
They ended up driving me around to different stores and ATMs all night. I distinctly remember them shaking me and yelling at me "WHAT'S THE PIN, BRO??" trying to get cash at the ATMs. I was so out of it at this point that I was just saying random stuff.
At some point, I "wake up" and find myself in a ditch covered in ants and ant bites. I was still so messed up that I didn't really even process what had happened yet. I couldn't find my phone, wallet, or keys and just assumed I forgot them at the bar. I ended up going to the construction site nearby where the workers were just starting to get there for the day. I asked them if campus was nearby and they said it was very far away (turned out to be a 35 minute drive away).
I ended up flagging somebody down on the side of the road to help me get home. A literal angel ended up taking me home after just dropping his daughter off at day care. It wasn't until I slept for a bit that I realized exactly what happened.
In total, they took my wallet, keys, and phone as well as buying a Macbook with my card. I didn't have any lasting physical injuries. I am INCREDIBLY lucky these were my only repercussions.
The police took my statement but weren't able to do much. I ended up using my phone's location tracking to see my phone's location over the night which ended up in an apartment complex near the ditch I was thrown in. Unfortunately, the police couldn't do much as they didn't know which unit the phone was in.
After this, I stayed somewhat in contact with the angel that brought me home. He would send me news stories of similar tales but ending up in death (the ones in this video). My scenario doesn't really line up with the serial killer narrative, but it adds to the overwhelming picture being painted that downtown Austin can be extremely dangerous. Drink in moderation and ALWAYS travel in a group.
After that night, I continued to black out more often. I wouldn't drink that frequently but I would black out a large portion of times. Despite all that I had overcome, I kept drinking to drown out those negative experiences. In New Years of 2022, I had a very low moment while blacked out and my family and friends supported me with quitting drinking. Since then, I have been completely sober of alcohol. The biggest realization was that if I continued this behavior when I have a family of my own, I could just ruin my life and the life of my family's instantly while blacked out.
Please everyone stay safe out there!!!

I remember being convinced that we had a serial killer here several years ago. I specifically remember Martin and I remember the father who came to Austin to see his daughter… it was right around that time that it was obvious to me that something really bad was going on. I’m so sorry for the loss of these lives… Martin’s brother is a wonderful guy and you can tell just by listening to him that Martin was an absolute gem of a person. So many lives lost and so many friends and families in pain with no answers. Thank you for doing this documentary and shedding light onto this story. ♥️🙏🏻

They drug them, take them to a satellite location, film the grape, torture & unaliving, dump the bodies and the films circulate on the black market. It's not only drugs or sex on the black market. The criminals are protected, because their customers are the wealthy & people in positions of power. This is why the police don't do anything. The only sacrifice going on here is innocent human life for the desires of the sick f*cks with the means and connections to procure the snuff. The web is sticky and wide reaching.

Id wager the killer is preying on good nature and posing as someone in need of help in order to lure the victims into places without witnesses. Could also be that these were closeted men going to meet a presumed lover, which would explain why they didnt tell anyone where they were going.

I used to drive Uber in Austin back in early 2020 just before lockdown. I remember there’s these 2 girls I picked up, they specifically told me that they kept cancelling rides with men until they were going to be picked up by a woman, so here I was. The other girl had been roofied, she was clinging on to dear life while her friend was keeping her awake. While conscious friend was trying to sit her up in the car, this one guy was trying to help them and conscious friend said “we don’t need your help, go away now” the guy kept on and he got to the other side of my car, which is when I stepped in and threatened him to get away from my car. “Get away from my car, or I will scream” the guy kept ignoring me and I yelled at the top of my lungs “HE’S TRYING TO ROB ME!! HELP!!” The security from the club I was picking the girls up from had been outside because they’re the ones who escorted them outside to my car, they immediately came and moved the guy from my car. The guy kept on yelling “dude, that’s my girlfriend!!” And conscious friend yelled “We’ve never seen you in our entire lives” and I yelled “I told him get away from my car”. I don’t know whatever happened to that guy, I hope he was sent to jail. On the way to these girl’s place, conscious friend kept trying to keep her friend awake, I gave her a bottle of water and she keeps trying. It was terrifying to see, the girl could’ve died right then and there. Luckily close to their house, she started to gain consciousness back and started talking regularly. We picked up Whataburger, I paid for them because they’ve gone through enough and they were so grateful, the girl was drugged sobered up real quick and I got them home safely.
Shit like this is so scary. I can’t imagine what these men went through and law enforcement has not looked into this. Probably because their friend/coworker is the killer and they’re covering up for him. It’s not uncommon for police to do this, just look at Louisiana. It’s blatant over there and nobody does shit. I bet my yearly salary this goes on in Texas, and this is the case here.
Edit: since y’all keep asking “why didn’t they just go to the police? Why not get an ambulance” also I try to remember best I can because this was back in early 2020, I have slept since then. 1) I didn’t even consider police given how corrupt they are (refer to this video in which we are commenting under) and I did ask if they needed to go to the hospital instead, conscious friend said no and they just wanted to get the F out of downtown Austin. I would like to add, they lived about 30 to 40 minutes out. 2) I don’t know who that guy was, they don’t know who that guy was, no he wasn’t some “random drunk guy trying to help” and even if he was, we told him multiple times to go away, *I* told him multiple times to get away from my car and he ignored me. That’s why I yelled. If that’s not even the slightest bit suspicious to you, then you need to gain better instincts. Don’t feel any sympathy for predators. 3) “she could’ve died is dramatic” everyone reacts differently to date rape drugs. Overdose on these substances have happened because sometimes predators put too much so they can “make sure they’re out completely” to do their evil biddings. Date rape drugs, specifically Rohypnol, act as a strong depressive drug especially when mixed with alcohol. Symptoms include severe sedation, unconsciousness, slow heart rate, and suppression of respiration that may be sufficient to result in death. I don’t think I’m being the slightest bit dramatic here, I think some of y’all are being insensitive because it’s never happened to you, or you’re an insensitive and insecure man so you brush it off as something light. 4) “she sobered up quick” I said she started gaining consciousness and started talking regularly but still felt out of it, and she sobered up after eating Whataburger. You know, the heavy food that absorbs alcohol real quick? I don’t know if maybe the guy might’ve not put too much or something but she sounded like a person with a hangover and after eating like she was just tired. Again, I did ask to take them to the hospital, they told me no, and they’re paying me so I’m gonna listen. Lastly, I don’t think the semantics matter because everyone reacts to the drugs differently, but what if I didn’t get those girls? What if this mysterious guy who was trying to get to this girl in my car was successful? Am I not to be concerned that something could’ve happened to both of them but especially the unconscious friend? Need I remind you we are commenting under a video about men/male identifying being drugged, killed and thrown in a river and the police does not a goddamn thing about it.

As someone not from the area, unfamiliar with Austin, not a news watcher & just hearing about this, it has the odor of a psychological experiment. Rainey St sounds like it WAS something like Mardi Gras, only year round and then after COVID, after years of being cooped up, often with ppl who wore on each others nerves, which has to be the biggest excuse to go out drinking or bar hopping, the booze district didn't come right back. Then when a few started to venture out in 2024, BAM, the murders increase & they start rumors of serial killers while the police remain tight lipped. Did you notice Austin & NYPD went to Dubai to participate in a SWAT team contest? Did you know that after 911 US paid Israel to retrain our local police forces with their military? Our police were sent there and then they sent Israeli's here to work in our police force. I knew 1 police chief who quit and another who was driven out after 30 years on the force. I've heard from wives of other officers that the departments changed and officers I've met since that time that I don't know basically act worse than robocops, nothing like they used to be. The government lost sight of the reason people agreed to have police departments- to protect the people, keep the community safe. But, now they are serving in some areas like royal guards of mayors or governors or something an all people are considered suspect if not an enemy. It's time to tone this down. I think people of Austin should be screaming for an FBI investigation or something & working to reorganize this. The film of the city meetings- it's incredible that the local officials would build that room that literally puts the officials on seats so much higher than the public, as if they were on thrones. Something is wrong there that they are not outraged at their police department ruling homicides as suicides. Perhaps, Austin is trying to keep their homicide rate low and that means more in federal grants & tourism dollar than the lives of the citizens. In any event it's just plain horrible that people already corralled into apartments would then be too fearful to go outside. It appears that they want COVID lock down to continue & for people to die in place, away from their mansions and 1000 acre estates.

I don't usually comment on videos but this one really hit home for me. In 2021, I met a woman who was homeless, living around the lake, and the downtown area. She would climb into the trees tie herself up to a branch, in an attempt to have some kind of safety while she slept. She told me "people go missing out here all the time, shit gets weird". She told me that Lady Bird Lake is a "body dump", that shes seen a lot while living in the streets. I know a lot of people don't respect the homeless community, but if you're from here (Austin), you know that they've seen evil in its rawest form, and being in the streets gives them a lot of insight on what kinda evil our law enforcement is capable of.

I’m from Europe and I’ve noticed that you never mentioned the fact that all victims are not Caucasian type, here I will guess that it could be racists crimes, It happens often here in Belgium or Germany with the resurgence of the fascistes political groups. And I often hear another crime with racial motives. I mean they kill innocent people only because they are not white or are immigrants.. I guess it’s a touchy subject in the US. I ll ask to my cousins living in Dallas and Louisiana.. but from what I hear in this case it point a racism motive… no “blue eyes blond hair” ( like me) are victims, or maybe I missed something, but from here that’s obvious, plus here we all know the majority of police are affiliated to a extreme right political group. They don’t hide that they don’t want to see more people of colour…

I won't completely dismiss the possibility of it being an inside job, but I can tell you from experience that APD is one of the most inept, ineffective, and lazy police orgs in the country. My theory is that because 6th Street is basically a silver platter for DUI, DWI, Public Intoxication, and Assault charges, they put all of their energy (and secure all their funding) from that alone.
ATX is basically a retired cop's wet dream - a place they can go to do minimal work and keep raking in publicly-funded paychecks.
Also, before anyone comes in with the "ThEy LoWeReD tHe BuDgEt!!!" argument - that didn't stick. They lowered the budget for a single fiscal year, then came back the next with a budget that was higher than the year prior. FY 2019-2020: $434 million. 2020-2021: $293 million. 2021-2022: $443 million.

I believe I was nearly a a victim of these sick individuals who are behind this. Back in 2023 I was drugged on Rainey st. and ended up being lured/ taken to a building under construction near the broken spoke via pedicab. I remember a woman with curly, dark hair tried taking advantage of me and when I didn’t have anything to give her and another person I cannot recall, they became aggressive. I ended up falling
off of a ledge they had backed me into on the 1st story and waking up on the ground to police officers surrounding me. They ended up charging me with some bs but those charges were later dropped.. Usually I don’t comment on RUclips videos but being born and raised in Austin I felt compelled to speak out. It’s way too coincidental that so many people have mysteriously lost their lives in seemingly the same way. I am extremely lucky to have been an outlier in the circumstance and I luckily made it out alive.. I feel so sorry for the victims that the Rainey street ripper has claimed but am lucky to be alive.

I think that anyone who doesn't drink is far less likely to be a victim here. However, a nonalcoholic drink could be drugged. As someone who lived there for nearly 15 yrs, most of us over 25 or 30 generally avoid "Dirty 6th" and Rainey St like the plague anyway. Always seems like a good bet.
But all bars have this risk, always have as a woman. We were always warned against letting our drinks out of our sight or out of sight of our bffs.
Better yet, drink at home :) Also chesper.
I spent many years not drinking at all, and Austin is a great place for healthy activities with like-minded ppl. I never once heard of anyone getting roofied or SA'd at my gyms, yoga studios, or painting classes, for example.

This doesnt make any sense. Austin was fine before this surge of visitors and didnt need money from tourism. Local businesses, who are in support of saying its a serial killer are the ones that stand to lose more than the city does so that by itself kind of dismantles the argument that the city government is scared of losing money. Secondly, many people dont want anymore “visitors” to Texas. I’ve lived in Texas all my life and no Texan is pleased with the influx of ppl so again this would be grounds for stopping the flow and putting out the news that it is a serial killer if the goal was to control population flow.
The answer to this mystery is much more simple. It is not a conspiracy to make more money from tourism, or control visitor flow, its actually just incompetence. And the people of Austin asked for it.
This what Austin asked for by “keeping itself weird” and advocating for DEI initiatives and defunding the police. This is what happens when you reach a critical mass of people who vote and support ridiculously stupid things.
Incompetence is what many asked for and incompetence is what they get.
And now they complain about it. Very much like how many of them hate what they did with california and decided to move to austin to do the same thing there.
This incompetence is their fault fully and it will only get worse as long as Austin has the priority of “keeping Austin weird”.

This is so sad and infuriating.. I can empathize. My house was set on fire with me and my dog in it. Another 2 fires happened within 2 hours within a few blocks. Fire Fighters got to my house 90 seconds after calling 911 because they were already up the street putting out the first fire. The first two fire fighters told me separately they think there’s an arsonist on the loose..
The fire “inspector” shows up and immediately shuts down ANY POSSIBILITY that there was an arsonist.. and it gets worse. There was a fresh snow the night before. I asked the “investigator” to look in the back yard for shoe prints and If he sees any, they aren’t mine. This man REFUSED TO TAKE 10 SECONDS OF HIS TIME TO GO LOOK!! Even if he was certain for whatever reason, he didn’t even take 10 seconds to give a victim some semblance of peace of mind. He said his fire fighters were already in the backyard and he wouldn’t be able to tell the difference if there was any..
I looked myself and you could see a single set of womens tennis shoe prints in the snow creeping through a break in my fence line coming from the alleyway up to the source of the fire at the breaker box, and those same prints then going back out the same way they came in.. so I gathered all the evidence myself.
I guessed If it WAS an arsonist that they set the fire to get my power cut and get me out of the house to then come back and rob me blind. My neighbor agreed and moved a security camera to my backyard. 2 days later my neighbor texts me with video of the arsonist showing up and walking into my backyard like she owned the place. I almost caught her…
The arsonist murdered a man by way of arson less than 24 hours after my and my neighbors fires..
The fire “investigator” deemed ALL FOUR FIRES AS ACCIDENTAL!!! Even a layman could tell clear as day that something wasn’t right here. A layman would know to at the bare minimum label it as inconclusive..
But due to the fire “investigator” saying in no uncertain terms that all 4 fires were “accidental”, the police couldn’t even open up an investigation into the fires and the murder..
Fast forward almost 3 years later and the trial just recently happened. The trial was almost 4 months long. It weighed heavy on me. I got all of the evidence I gathered admitted into the trial. But it wasn’t enough…
Due to the fire “investigstor” doing less than nothing, it cost me dearly. The arsonist was found guilty on 23 of 27 counts including first degree murder.
The only counts she was found not guilty on?
My house and my neighbors houses..
If the fire “investigator” had done the ABSOLUTE MINIMAL and said “inconclusive”, police would’ve investigated, and with the evidence I gathered, they would’ve been able to subpoena her phone records and place her at the scene of the crime twice. And with the evidence that I gathered, it would’ve been a slam dunk…
The arsonist ALMOST GOT AWAY WITH MURDER because of this highly questionably inept “investigator”. She would’ve gotten away with it because of him if she hasn’t pooped on the floor of one of the arson victims and detectives getting DNA from it saying it was her by 24 quintillion.
There’s so much more to it, but it’s really messed me up. I honestly feel done more wrong by the fire “investigator” than I do by the arsonist. You expect a criminal to do criminal things. But you don’t expect your world to be turned upside down by someone who’s job is to protect you… allegedly…
If still weighs heavy on me. Sentencing is happening on July 23rd. The trauma is there and it didn’t get any better after sentencing, and I blame it ALL ON THE “INVESTIGATOR”!!!!
I don’t know WHY he was so bad at his job. I don’t know if he was about to retire and didn’t want a big case on the books, I don’t know if he’s tied in to the arsonist somehow, I don’t know if he just took offense to me asking him to go look for footprints and took it out on me and my neighbors…
All I know is an official who’s job it is to protect us, didn’t do his job. All I know is that a layman would know there was foul play.
Yet instead of doing his job, he insinuated that I did it…
I still don’t have my house back. It still hasn’t been fixed due to conflicts over this and the insinuation…
Long story short, especially to anyone who would automatically disregard what the lady is saying about her concerns over the police and all the suspect things going on… just… don’t.
If you feel something is off, pull on that string and keep pulling until you find what you’re looking for. Police and investigators ARE NOT INFALLIBLE!!!
I worked for Superior Court at the time. And it STILL happened to me.
You can’t blindly trust anyone. Police and their kin are included in that.
I wish this woman peace and I hope she ends up finding what she’s looking for. In the end; we are truly our only advocates.

I seen a story about this on the Law&Crime channel, TMZ, Nancy Grace, Fox 26 in Houston, list goes on, and all seem to think it's a serial killer. If nothing else, the lights and camera would add to public safety, so why they are stalling on doing it, really looks suspicious. My heart goes out to the families of these poor men.
My cousin, back in the 80s, was "supposedly" shot by a hunter in the woods in Coweta, Ok. They didn't find him till 2 weeks later, most was decomposition liquid. Broken Arrow police got involved, picked up one of the shooters and found out, it was a drug deal gone bad and the Coweta sheriff's office was behind it. Sheriff hired the guys to take my cousin out in the woods and shot him. So just cuz they have a badge, doesn't mean they have your best interest at heart, they cover each other's asses.

But BA is not technically in Tulsa County, it belongs to a rural county, and Coweta is the first rural town outside the Tulsa urban area in that rural county. If there are no signs of drowning in a body recovered from the water, then they know they were already dead before they entered the water and can convey that to the PD.

Men who are drugged at bars (GHB likely) captured and in some cases held for a few days before being killed and laid in a nearby body of water. This has been happening in Chicago, Boston, Nashville, Wisconsin, Michigan, etc. Interestingly enough, a very gifted psychic Sloan Bella did a video on the Riley Strain case and envisioned that the perpetrator of these killings could be a country singer touring and traveling to these different cities. I was roofied on Rainey Street on Halloween one year. Had two beers and was unable to walk or speak coherently. I got out of there safely, but had the worst hangover ever the next day. I feel like there is definitely a culture/problem of drink spiking on Rainey; the bars really need to step up security significantly

Someone on Rainey street, a waitress/waiter, barperson, manager, bouncer etc. must know something or have suspicions?

    • @baytiedye
      @baytiedye 3 месяца назад +27

Maybe so. If the local police did their jobs thoroughly they would've gathered that info. Even so, if this person or group of people are targeting crowded bars and popular venues, it would be easy for someone to slink around, deposit something in a drink and then high tale it out to watch until their victim left, all without being noticed. It's a really, really scary reality.
Security camera footage though, that could be helpful in identifying a suspicious person sneaking around.

My uncle who works for a funeral home and has seen cremations being done on a regular basis told me that yes you can cremate people with clothes on but only with the families consent. So there had to have been some evidence on Chris's clothes that nobody wanted to see. The crematorium that my uncle works for says the ovens get well over 800 to 900 degrees maybe even hotter so everything that Chris had on was destroyed. It's very sad but the documentary was excellent and I love Austin. ❤
