Thanks for being real, too many channels are only high light reels that hide the difficult, time consuming and sometimes even boring challenges we have to go through in order to catch a fish.
One thing Nick does better than any other fishing channel out there............Nick always keeps it real...........real classy.........Thanks Nick you da man...
Love how you show the real struggles of fishing. Even though you didn't catch anything you stuck to it and i commend you for that. I've been a subscriber for about 3 yrs and this is why this is my favorite fishing channel, you always keep it real.👍
Your fishing channel is epic. I appreciate you hard core as an angler. I could watch you fish all day; even if you catch nothing but a pile of leaves. Keep up the good content my dude. You deserve a million subs.
I've been watching ur videos everytime u post for the past few months ! Makes me feel like I'm there fishing with you! I keep on watching hopeing someday you'll catch a beast!
I've slipped on mud, fallen off a tree that hangs over the water, slipped on rocks but all worth it because they were the best spots. Love the content, love the places you fish, real fishing at its finest.
You are the most dedicated fisherman I've seen in decades. Love your vids, I thought it was awesome that you didn't edit out the fall. We all do that....fall I mean. Merry Christmas, see ya later buddy.
Dude, thanks so much for keeping it real and sharing the defeats! Besides, you did get one great catch - that tripod and camera save was outstanding. :)
I think I can speak for most of us.......we are down with the struggle....not every adventure can be successful...thank you for sharing the good times and the bad
OK ! nice job catching those cats and bass. Great save on yer slip also, coulda been bad. I like the way ya put yer fish back in the water, "easy". Thanks for sharing. Tom Daytona Beach, FL.
I totally love your videos, ive been watching for about a month and love what you do, i really like your micro fishing videos but when you explore new places is really cool too, keep up the good work :)
We all have had many of these days, sometimes I wonder why I even wasted my time but for some reason we do it bro! If your not having days like this every once in a while.......or every other day lol your not fishing hard enough!
Better luck next time Nick!!! Anyway, you doubled up today (bait & bait), scooped up plenty of carp and made a slippery intro!!!! Good job even saved the camera!!! I enjoyed the vid!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
Damn that water was roaring. I love your channel, I live in Utah, some pretty good fishing here. Not too many big rivers but you've definitely motivated me to look for some spill ways. I'll probably wait until it warms up a bit. Keep doing the good work!
Conditions like that I'd try fishing a three way rig. That'll keep your bait up off the bottom and maybe free of some of that debris. The fish don't want to be down in that stuff either. Lucky you didn't hit one of those rocks when you fell...that would have been a day ender right there!
I had a feeling I'd see this spot eventually if I watched enough videos! 💜🔥 Apparently it gets so high up that the flat/rapids section goes calm, and that entire rock back goes under. Hoping I'll be able to figure it out with some more trips this year! P.S. I don't know how the regs were back when this was shot, but it's super illegal to use live Asian carp as bait these days (legal for dead/cut bait!) 🙏💜 Thank you for pulling some of them out!
You should go back to this spot, have been fishing out there a few times and hooked into some really great catfish since the water has gone down. Loved the video!
I love this one. This shows how real you are. Way to hold your composure with that slip and great camera catch. I would have had to edit out choice words had it been myself! lol
I realy like your channel is funny and unespected what is gona hapen, i follow you for the last 2 months and is cool to see you dealing with those water speels, George
Fish the eddys, where the water curves around back up stream. Drift your bait down into the eddy. The fish hang out there, in the slack water, waiting for food to drift down to them. They don't like to fight the current.
This is the Lewis and Clark recreational area spillway I know this area very well caught my personal best flat head and that exact same spot 32 lb and my personal best blue catfish at 27 good spot
I grew up fishing this exact area. Also deer hunting right across the Creek from where you are. We live in the same area. Should link up and do some fishing some day.
For as much fishing that you do, I am surprised that you haven't purchased the fish finder that attaches to the line and then will do a 180-degree swipe and tell you not only whose home but what depth they are at and how many there are of that type of fish.
This is the realest fishing channel; he goes through so much trouble for that brief instance of joy, something all true fishermen can relate to.
Some days can be rough, but that’s part of the sport! Thanks for watching!
Agree... Sometime he doesnt even catch a single fish but he still post the videos anyway...
Has to be scripted, nobody falls on their ass that much!
I love it when he scoops all of the fish up at the beginning
Thanks for being real, too many channels are only high light reels that hide the difficult, time consuming and sometimes even boring challenges we have to go through in order to catch a fish.
Fishing can definitely be a struggle at times.. I can’t complain too much because it’s taught me a lot about patience!
Nick, I admire you for your neverending optimism👍👍👍😂
One thing Nick does better than any other fishing channel out there............Nick always keeps it real...........real classy.........Thanks Nick you da man...
Your reflexes, man. I saw the drone dive, the gunshot dodge, and now the camera slip save?? Unreal.
Well when you got a $3,000 camera setup, you save it! Haha
A bad day of fishing beats a good day at work. Thanks for keeping it real.
This is my experience every time I go out.
No more, "See ya buddy"; New catch phrase, " Oh, I'm snagged". Keep on fishin ! ! !
One of those days! Bad days fishing is better than a good day at work.Great channel thanks heaps.
Love how you show the real struggles of fishing. Even though you didn't catch anything you stuck to it and i commend you for that. I've been a subscriber for about 3 yrs and this is why this is my favorite fishing channel, you always keep it real.👍
Thanks for posting this! I seem to have more days like this then none when fishing but seeing you anglers face the same thing gives me hope!
Your fishing channel is epic. I appreciate you hard core as an angler. I could watch you fish all day; even if you catch nothing but a pile of leaves. Keep up the good content my dude. You deserve a million subs.
You know you've got an asian carp problem if you're catching carp with carp😂
😂
PAUL PROTEUS Ik that species is just weird
@@jimf-150 they are Asian, they kamikaze even their own 🤣
Way to hang in there! Sometimes fishing is the adventure itself, not the catching. I have plenty of skunk days, but i ALWAYS love to go!👍🎣tight lines!
Always giving all of us the best entertainment i appreciate it bud. Love the vids love the editing. Just the best fishing channel!
Lol love it !! My typical fishing experiences !! Thanks for your channel !

I've slipped on mud, fallen off a tree that hangs over the water, slipped on rocks but all worth it because they were the best spots. Love the content, love the places you fish, real fishing at its finest.
You fall a lot but so do I and that means we go to deeper spots in order to get the big fish thumbs up my friends
You are the most dedicated fisherman I've seen in decades. Love your vids, I thought it was awesome that you didn't edit out the fall. We all do that....fall I mean. Merry Christmas, see ya later buddy.
The clumsiness makes it all the more endearing and real
04:42 mini monster of Loch Ness just casually cruising by.
It happens...

Not everyday youll get what you want... love your videos😉
Imma say it before the video starts. This is looking very promising.
After awhile 618 needs to do a "falling compilation" video and put some extremely peaceful music on that video 😂😂😂 keep on fishin' brotha!
That day was certainly special 😂
Very tough conditions! I have to say the quality of your videos clearness, camera angles etc is fantastic 🐟
You are gonna be epic with the falls 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nick you go to some of the most precarious fishing spots to bring us such entraining content. Thanks again for another quality video🐟😊
Damn that water was roaring. I love your channel, I live in Utah, some pretty good fishing here. Not too many big rivers but you've definitely motivated me to look for some spill ways. I'll probably wait until it warms up a bit. Keep doing the good work!

Omg thanks for being the best tuber

“Good catch man”😂
I need more spillways where I live....cool video, always wanted to fish the Mississippi
Hang in there Nick!!
First time on your channel. Loved this episode: that's me a lot of the time!
Haha, I like when you leave in the shots of you falling. Now that's...realistic. :)
Lol u make me laugh so hard! You just got a subscriber... keep it up
I realy like your channel is funny and unespected what is gona hapen, i follow you for the last 2 months and is cool to see you dealing with those water speels, George
A great video nick, nice try. There is always another day.
Still better than a good day at work.
Everything’s slippy in the words of bear grills lmao my boy be bustin his ass on these videos and in real life. Great video
Still a good day with the mini carp!!! 💯🔥
Fish the eddys, where the water curves around back up stream. Drift your bait down into the eddy. The fish hang out there, in the slack water, waiting for food to drift down to them. They don't like to fight the current.

I've had those days your not alone on that .
I grew up fishing this exact area. Also deer hunting right across the Creek from where you are. We live in the same area. Should link up and do some fishing some day.
Nick should try catching trout in the Mississippi River 😊
Really enjoy your vids mate. Look after yourself bro, don't forget a lifejacket if it gets hairy 😃
Love the spillway videos
Thanks for watching Konner!
Nice catch on the camera dude! Those reflexes
That's a scary looking river!
@618 Fishing you ever fish the great lakes? Take a trip there and do a video it'll be awesome 😊👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘🤘
Gotta give you credit for even going out in those crappy conditions.
So relatable man
Amazing video keep up the amazing work your doing awsome
Thanks EDB!
On the rocky bottoms try a 3way drop rig with a breakaway line on a bank weight...you will lose the weight and catch the fish
The struggle is real that’s why they call it fishing.
One thing I always wish I had up north was a cast net... Get a cast net Nick!
If catching bait was the easy all the time. Great movie
I love this! This is what happens when I go fishing. I just don't have a camera!
You should check out piasa creek in grafton, IL. I've seen people pull out some absolute monsters there.
Nick, I love you video's keep it up. Do you use a mirrorless camera or DSL? And again, keep it up Homie.
Gotta start using a knocker rig bud. Won't snag up near as much ;)
For as much fishing that you do, I am surprised that you haven't purchased the fish finder that attaches to the line and then will do a 180-degree swipe and tell you not only whose home but what depth they are at and how many there are of that type of fish.
If you fished bigger cut bait,Where that Creek enters the Big Muddy,It would be on...
618,Just trying to give you some friendly advice,I'm in Oklahoma, and have caught many cats over 50lbs...Keep up the good work...
Tonight’s dinner: Plate of bait fish!
That may have been the best first ten seconds on film....and you can quote me on that
I mentioned to my friend, dude we ought to try the spillways in our state 😊
What kind of rod are you using on the open face bottom rig?
618 has done a LLLOOOTTT Of spillway fishing videos. Is that because everybody is Suggesting him to? 😅
Spillway fishing is just a lot of fun and it’s exciting not knowing what you might catch!
A googan collab would be 🔥🔥🔥
I find in flooded or rising water just five to ten feet off the bank works well. And less snagging or catching debris.
I’m starting a RUclips channel and your my inspiration!! Thank you
i saw you slip 20 seconds in and subscribed :)
what kind of drone are you using for your overhead video shots ?
