Appreciate your train pics in beautiful BC & Alberta scenery. Also animals when you happen across. RR's is what keeps our countries economy's moving---Stan in Big Sky Country
I definitely agree, it was one of the nicest eerie horns I have heard in awhile! That is a Nathan Airchime K3L, and remember what we talked about between the K3L or K3LA, similar to K5L or K5LA, its all about the tuning in the bells, the K3L has bells 1,2,3 where as the K3LA has bells 1,2,4A which makes that difference in sound, like I was mentioning Robert Swanson loved the eeriness of horns as you can tell, just imagine this as half of a K5L or K5H, since they have just the 4 and 5 bells missing on the three chime (K3L). Thanks for watching and being the first comment!
I had no idea the history or name of that basalt rock till I just read about it thanks to you! again for your helpful information, I think you are more educated on Canada then I am like we were talking about before 😁 👍🏼
@@TracksideTyson Appreciate the compliment. Here is another tidbit for you. Right around the same area the local Nlaka'pamu people had low built walls of stone used as fortifications against other marauding First Nations. Most of them were built on the east side but were destroyed by the land slide 30(?) years ago. I understand some do remain on the west side. The fortifications were used as a defensive position and as an attack position on the marauders as they came up river.
Yup very cool see this the history that once was there, this entire area could change anytime, big loose rock all leaning on the edge with the concrete wall, overtime this may Bury itself.
Enjoyed watching the train following the river.
Thanks for watching John!

Can you do/have you done a camera setup video? I'd love to know how to get video this good!
I do not have a video of my equipment, but I use a Sony AX53 camera and Velbon Tripod.
