My brother was in a car accident on Saturday and he is currently in a coma with a traumatic brain injury. I know that it is likely that he will be facing challenges like Caleb when he wakes up . I was led to this video because I have been researching anything and everything that could potentially help him get better and hyperbaric oxygen therapy seems to have a decent amount of research behind it. This video gives me hope. I am going to make sure we get him into a hyperbaric chamber to aid his recovery.

You guys. I havent watched this video but I'm just responding to the title....the answer is YES!!!
My dad had a stroke about a 14 months ago ago. About 11 months later, when he had done absolutely everything that conventional medicine had to offer (And some alternative) he wasn't improving and it looked like he'd never be able to enjoy any real quality of life, let alone drive again. He was dizzy 24/7 no matter what we tried and he couldnt hold a conversation because his memory was so poor.
I have an acquaintance who was in a terrible car accident (the driver was killed instantly) and she was in a coma and had severe brain trauma, to the point where she was told she would never drive or work again, let alone get married or have a life. Her balance was so impacted that drs recommended she wear a helmet at all times because her brain damage caused her to not know when she's falling. She has been doing hyperbaric oxygen therapy for 6 years and she is now a successful entrepreneur on track to making 6 figures this year, and she recently got married and moved out of her parents house, all in 4 inch heels ;) She told me to get dad to try hyperbaric oxygen therapy and after just one month of treatment he's like a new person! We can visit for hours and it's easy to forget he had a stroke. His balance issues decreased dramatically and yesterday he passed his drivers test and is able to drive again with no restriction!!

Since this podcast there has been new studies that show this treatment repairs the telomeres on the end of our DNA. The telomere degradation is what causes the ill effects of aging, so hyperbaric chamber treatment is not only anti aging, but since it repairs the telomeres, it is in fact reversing the effects of aging. This is the only thing known to repair DNA telomere degradation

Joe, Your guest is absolutely correct about HBO therapy. I have a friend here in Iowa who has worked trying to get HBO covered for veterans who have suffer TBI from combat duties. I am not a veteran but have had over 70 2-hour dives to address other issues and the benefits are numerous. But for veterans with TBI, the treatment is a game changer and the U.S. should be making this treatment available for vets.
I don't follow MMA (other than a general respect for the physical and mental conditioning it takes to compete at that level.
Thank you for giving this treatment exposure, and for giving your guest the latitude to discuss HBO on your program.

That man wasn't Dr. William Duncan, was it? My HBOT mentor! I worked with him to get the clinic in OKC up and running in 2015, I even edited the law he got put in place to get HBOT for vets!! (But the asshole legislators never funded it!!) Dr. Duncan saved my life. HBOT saved my life. My brain. AND my marriage!! I have a bad TBI from about a dozen head injuries, mostly from faint/falls related to a heart condition (POTS) and from car wrecks, and a few from child abuse (yes, head injuries accumulate in life...esp for men, sports, etc.). I need HBOT so bad (without it I cannot think or talk clearly--I have aphasia--we bought an at-home chamber! You can get them for around 4-5K. Newtowne is a good company. (Avoid Andi Corp, at all costs, however)

When my daughter was a junior in high school, she collapsed at basketball practice and had to be rushed to the hospital. She began having seizures and lost the use of the left side of her body. She was diagnosed with non-epileptic seizures but was having 30 a day and couldn’t be left unattended. She was in constant pain from the convulsions from the seizures. After seeing this video, we purchased 8 weeks of hyperbaric treatments for her. She went 5 days a week an hour away from home to get these treatments. After her 3rd treatment, her seizures completely stopped. She finished all 40 treatments but to say that HBOT is a miracle would be an understatement. We had to take out a loan to pay for this treatment because it is not approved by the FDA to treat her condition. Being able to watch her live on her own and attend college, I would pay it over and over again. Thank you for this video as it literally saved my daughter’s life.

Hyperbaric is good / oxygen therapy, but according to the science, not nearly as good as molecular hydrogen gas. Plus the h2 is amazing for muscle atrophy. Oxygen has to be cycled and limited in its use. But pure clean hydrogen, can be used regularly. There is a lot to learn on these subjects, Japan knows a lot about this. I educate on this subject regularly and make videos on RUclips. Good subject for people to learn.

My mom was a nurse at a hospital for about 15 years and she got an infection that turned into sepsis, she had to have both legs amputated and all of her fingers except for her thumbs. After the amputations, she was prescribed Hyperbaric treatment to help repair nerve damage. It really helped mitigate her pain and it did help repair her nerves, however she does have phantom pain and takes a painkiller for it (Gabapentin, not an opiate).

Good post, Joe. I know how you've been through the S.H.I.T. Me too, bro. Some, more than others. But consider this: the massive dinosaurs living in Noah's day could not live in today's oxygen deprived world. The whole world, man, was one big hyperbaric chamber before the great deluge that provided us the concentrations of fossil fuels today. Track down the creation science. I'm telling you, bro, it's sweet to the soul and explains so many things. Love you, man. Hang in there.

It can theoretically do it for now. It has impressive results do not get me wrong. Few more years of development and it will yield a 100% successful result. It is only a matter of time.

The man is jumping through hoops to hopefully heal his damaged brain, but he hopes to fight again.
If you ask me, that's proof he's brain damaged.

    • @MrNiigii
      @MrNiigii 3 года назад +1

They do a different process then you would use for diving. They alternate between 100% and regular air at 20%. This tricks the body into hypoxia which induces stem cell releases. Stem cells plus high oxygen is conducive to healing. Good talk from the leading hyperbaric therapy researcher: ruclips.net/video/r0iQFWjw_LY/видео.html

There is proof though, if there is nothing wrong with you obviously you wouldn't notice any healing benefits from it when you do it.
There are brain scans from patients to prove that it heals head trauma. Not trying to argue with you but there is proof of head scans so must be some truth to it

It's like you're in a plane when you're in a hyperbaric chamber......LOL. Think about that for a second.
He has it exactly wrong. He must not know what happens in a plane OR a chamber.
Hyperbaric, floating,......he probably does acupuncture, reki, and cold chambers. What a doofus.

Not J Put yourself in his shoes. With that kind of medical history and health issues you'd try any- and everything too. The man is just trying to heal and live, give him a rest. Besides, all he really said was that both the chamber and a plane fuck his ears up the same way. He didn't say that both situations or environments are exactly the same.
