Thank you for this interview. A few days ago "Black Book" was on tv (arte). To me Carice van Houten and Sebastian Koch looked always like they where meant for each other. There was something really special between them - and it looks like real love - hard to find. So sad that they broke up. In every video here on youtube with both of them - the looks, smile, eye contact - so intense and they look so happy together. He looks and sounds in this interview like he has still big feelings for her and his answer "Carice van Houten" reminds me on the movie "IL POSTINO". Philip Noiret asked the postman to describe the best of the island and he replied "Beatrice Russo".
He got another child after spliting up with her and she became mother too. He doesn't have to talk about her any more at all. She's a woman and she deserves to stay honorable.
Well he recently had to freshen up his Dutch for playing Prince Claus (unfortunately a way too small role) in the series Máxima. But he played Claus phenomenally and spoke Dutch quite well!
If this Sebastian Koch REALLY(!) feels (something like) love for Carice Van Houten even today, then he's crazy for not being with her. It might be he's just acting/pretending...
