Good morning Brian!!! And to answer your question about what reptiles we keep I have a BCI, a okeetee corn snake, a twin spot western hognose, And a normal Kenyan sand boa and ball python I got from BHB about three and a half ish years ago. I love reptiles my entire life but much like you my family didn't support it my mom still thinks that the only good snake is a dead snake. So I didn't start keeping reptiles till about 10 years ago when got my own place and funnily enough around that time is when snake bites TV first aired and I've been hooked ever since. Don't stop doing what you're doing you rock Brian. ( P.s. any updates on the reptile Prime enclosures I'm really interested on getting one for my BCI when they're available!?)🐍🐍😁😁😁😁😁

I have a common boa named Arya, a western hognose named Tyrion, and a crestie named Podrick. When Arya's food was still little, I fed her live. It was so interesting to watch her on the hunt.

I have a 1 year old Common Ball Python named Evie, and when I adopted her she was being fed live mice. When I had to switch to frozen/thawed, she wasn’t too thrilled and made the weakest attempt at a bite like, “Ughh, fine, I’ll eat this....” Such a sassy little noodle ball!

I recommend a ball python they only get five feet or three feet long
I have three retics, four ball pythons, an amazon tree boa, and a Guyana boa. Feeding day is always the best, because I love knowing my babies are comfortable and growing. I’ve had my Guyana for four months now and he has yet to eat for me. He had an RI but that’s been taken care of, so I hope he eats soon. Everyone else LOVES food.

I have a black headed python and one feeding day he missed the rat, went by my hand almost got me by the shorts.
I have 2 eastern blue tongues, and a lowland Blotch blue tongue, albino Darwin carpet, jungle carpet, coastal jungle carpet, 3 blonde spotted pythons, central bearded dragon, eastern water dragon, shingle back, 2 banded knob tail geckos, 2 Pygmy bearded dragons, and a black headed python. In March it will be 10 years of me keeping reptiles and I’ll be 18 this week. I’ve kept 22 reptiles, have a good week Brian and the crew!

I have a 2 year old black pastel ball. He’s always so dramatic when he eats. If I give him freshly killed, he’ll still wrap his entire body around the rat. If it’s live, he’ll almost dance with it. Super cute but dramatic

My favorite (and only) snake bite story! I was maybe 9 years old, and we were feeding our snakes in the morning before I went to school. My beautiful, temperamental, super food motivated Brooks king misses her hopper, latches onto my thumb and won't let go. 5 minutes pass and she's still trying to suffocate her "rat". So my genius dad fills our popcorn bowl with water and I stick my hand in there and wait. And wait. I swear she held her breath for at least 10 minutes before deciding the "rat" wasn't worth it and letting go. Best excuse for being late to 4th grade ever.
P.S. Thanks Brian for continually reminding me how amazing reptiles are and how lucky I was to grow up around them!

A few months ago I got my first corn snake from a local reptile breeding shop, it's a baby blood red, very good with feeding, I was inspired to get a snake by watching your videos, I really enjoy them 🤙 rock on!

I don't have any bite stories yet but I know that I will someday but my favorite feeding story is when I first got my Vanilla Pastel het Ball Python I kept trying to feed her frozen thaw and she wouldn't take it and then I realized that she liked killing her own food there's nothing like watching a snake sneak up on a rat and then eat it it's so awesome.

My best friend kept snakes, and I loved going over to hold them. One of them was so sweet, she would very slowly creep up your arm until she could gently nudge your cheek.
My favorite feeding story is how i conditioned some snakes that have been known as „alive only“ feeder to eat dead food.
I did that by placing a cage with living rats in the snake room over night. next day they have been so fired up that they accepted prekilled prey.
after some repetitions they all made the transition without the activation through living prey.

I have an absolutely gorgeous Jungle Carpet Python, my favorite animal in the world. Going to feed her one day and she lunges out at the meal and misses, and nearly bites me in the... no no area. So that was scary but I love her still.
I keep many reptiles, but my best feeding story is when I gave my dwarf retic a Guinea pig, she ate it but when she was done she had lots of substrate in her mouth. I then had to grab her by the head (she is 14ft long), while she is in defensive mode after eating and clean out her mouth. I just had to pray she didnt throw up the food. Luckily she didnt but my god she is strong!
