I have no idea how you get such a clear sound. You said you record thru the Helix as an interface but it sounds much more clear than when i do it through my behringer interface.
Yes that’s just it, guitar into HX Stomp running a clean Fender amp model. I record straight from the USB out of the Stomp and I’m always very satisfied with the results.
Thank you! I use the US Double Vib model on HX Stomp with the corresponding cab sim. That is my default preset for recording demos so you’re hearing that 99.9% of the time. I use a Vox model (I forgot the name) very rarely for some overdriven sounds.

You’re spot on regarding the Leap Series. This is much easier to learn, use and keep track of all the settings. Screen is very helpful here.
