something similar happened to me ;-; I was not at my house at the time and my dog was left in my backyard while i was in town, when i got back home a few hrs later i went to go say hi to her but when i went outside she was nowhere, the gates to my backyard weren’t open and i had no idea how she would have gotten out. So like a sensible person, i went around my neighborhood calling her name with my dad, eventually we made it in front of a house hosting a pool party and someone called out, “Are you looking for a small dog?” Me and my dad said yes and he told us to go to. where the pool is. When i looked over their gate, in that pool party was my dog sitting down and just chilling and i was so shocked to see her at a pool party- She made it home safe btw :) Something bad happened at the pool party tho. (50 likes and i will explain that)
This reminded me of one time when my dog got away. I was at school when it happened but she was gone from 9am to 10pm. My mom told me that she got out after school. When we got home I went to my bedroom set my stuff down and cried. Later, me and my mom (my dad was at work) went over the fence that she jumped over to look for her, we were yelling her name but she never came. So we went back up to the house and my mom made a post on Facebook with a picture of her on it saying she went missing. Later this guy commented saying that he saw her. My mom calls me and tells me what happened and we get in the car. While we were going to the road the guy said he saw her on (it was in our neighborhood) and as we were going my dad got home so he was looking with us. We thought we saw her and we were yelling for her to come here but she wasn't. We thought that was weird because she always comes running to us when she sees us or we yell for her, but it was like she was ignoring us. (Unless that wasn't her) so we went back home and I was in my room when my mom YELLED my name I ran in there and my mom was outside with a flashlight and I looked and my dad was out there pulling the gate down. Earlier he found out that he could just pull the gate up. So he was pulling it down and when he got it down my dog came running up to the door and she went inside. She was filthy so me and my dad bathed her, there was dirt all over her. But like that was last year so it was a long time ago. She is here now and she's laying next to me 💗 sorry for typing this long ahh paragraph 😅
