This really melts my heart in the best way! As a black woman who grew up in an urban city, I always had a desire to take road trips, go away to cabins, and explore life in ways that were unknown to an inner city kid, but I never had the chance to at that time. I was always called "different" or "weird" or even "that's such a white thing" during those developmental years. But I THANK GOD that those lies are indeed that! I LOVE that you both as parents are giving your children (and yourselves) these incredible opportunities! Showing them that all of the good things that the earth has to offer (thank you Jesus) is for them to enjoy! I pray that you both would continue to see that GOD equipped you since the beginning of time, to be the incredible parents that you are! He's given you EVERYTHING required to do this thing called life, marriage, parenthood, and so much more! Praying for protection on the road and safe travels!!!
I grew up similar, not inner city but we didn’t do road trips when I was in Baltimore. We took one when I was with my dads family in California it was just in a car though.

It’s been so long since we saw all of you in a car together. Especially Yvette in the passenger seat eating something and saying random stuff like where is the bacon while Glen tries to narrate to us what is going on 😂. This is bring flashbacks of that time y’all went to Starbucks before church.
We did a two week trip around some of the South Island of NZ with two kids (7 & 11 at the time) and it was A LOT! We ended up parking up for extra days in one spot because they just weren’t coping so I applaud you for doing it with four kids.
We're all taking this road trip with you. Can't do that here in 🇳🇬 so I can savour it, vicariously. Anaya's smile lights me up from within. That princess is such a darling!

My parents BARELY got divorced 2 years ago because my lil sister school got involved (WHICH I THANK TO GOD) shits so different now.,, I have to take care of my family..,. You're kids are really blessed..and they will always have the memories of the road trip(s)..when i was growing up my dad loved to drive so my brother and i were always on road trips..my dad took us to almost all 50 states..* some states we went to more than once..twice or three times..my friends back then didn't believe all the places* states.. my dad took us to..as a kid i didn't realize the good memories those trips would really become to me later in life.
I’ve only traveled with two kids (by airplane) and it’s already A LOT!! Kudos to you for making this happen, and even with toddlers that are so unpredictable. It shows how much you love your family because making memories like this requires so many sacrifices from the parents. 🙏🏼

I've been waiting for this!!! I'm so happy ya'll are doing this. I have ONE memory of an RV trip I took with my grandparents. It was just me and I still remember it, had to be about 6. My siblings and I want to do an RV trip so badly but we got a ton of dogs lol. I can't wait until the next episode
This trip is something the children will never forget,. My son said he always knew when we were going away because the car would be facing the opposite way in the drive. He also said all of our road trips to France, Belgium and Spain were the best holidays he ever had. 🙏🏾

My family and I go on road trips from May 20th-24th until July 1st every year and we have a blast! This year we added on LA and Death Valley. We drive from Viera, Florida to the west coast every summer and we love it! I love this so much 💗 💓
I can understand you not being mentally prepared. All of your kids are under 10 years of age. One missed or incomplete nap could make any car/rv ride miserable. You guys are doing great though and I commend you for even doing such a trip. Your family is making memories that will last forever!!!
I love RV trips...hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I rented a 19 foot RV to get to the Grand Canyon and others places, and ended up buying an RV last year! Stayed at a KOA near the Grand Canyon!!!

I bought a BMW X3 to tour Europe, I absolutely love the 4x4 conversion process and the adventures we have. It’s one of the best moves I’ve ever made 😊
