I feel like cut down is the most important removal spell in the format. Im not as high Nowhere to Run, although it's quite incredible. This Town is the most broken card on this list, I think. But thats probably more due to Stormchasers Talent being blue as well. As a removal spell, its quite good, proving excelent tempo. And later on is an absolute blowout when spending 5
I get that you wanted to make a statement about get lost and soul partition, but common. There is no way it worse than the other D tier black removal. I get the sentiment, but the fact that it is sometimes still a card we need to use, speaks for itself. At the very least it is mid tier IMO. Great content, please keep it up! 😁
I may be biased since I played mono white for a good portion of current standard format and that deck doesn’t care so much about giving map tokens. Sure it’s still not ideal, but the fact is that it has a lot of tools against red to offset this drawback.
You have to mention screaming nemisis when talking about anoint. Exiling it without taking damage is probably the best card to deal with it. Oh and stops unstoppable slasher from coming back.
This is pretty wack 😂🤣 while map tokens work great on the mice, the one mana they’re spending on the map is 1 mana they aren’t spending on a pump spell or another creature. Ideally, if you’re in the right colors, you would play nowhere to run or torch the tower to counteract the death triggers. Lay down arms is preferable to get lost against the mice specifically but the flexibility of three card types and instant speed is insane and it’s shaping up to be one of the best removal spells after rotation.
The "get lost" hate is unreal. I had a whole dissertation written up but decided to K.I.S.S. Efficient, flexible, and instant speed = mid B tier my guy ;-)
I can count on two hands the amount of times my opponent's casting Get Lost against me has directly resulted in them losing, and that is 10 fingers too many for a removal spell, not to mention the countless times where Get Lost only let to crawl back to parody. Those map tokens are so much worse of a down side than people realize. I'm with Doom on this one, Get Lost sucks lol. But the decks that need to play it are kind of forced to play it. Now, if only we could make Kambal work in standard, lol.
Powerful cards without a home would be a fun teir list
Please
yes i love this idea
Fourthd lol
I love the reminder text on shot the sheriff. "Everyone else is fair game" great video d00m
Standard has always been the format defined by 3 mana plays. Rank the 3 best three drops
maybe Virtue of Persistence should also be considered a good removal, maybe an A-B
Parting gust is my sleeper removal spell.
Orzhov exile with Ketramose is coming.
Cool idea! Would like to see something like a one-drop creatures tier list.

@@connectingthepieces4845 he does not need to name all the 3 drops it works on thank you
Having Leyline Binding S tier and Get Lost D tier was not on my bingo card
15:19 Bro, Faerie Mastermind...
Edit: also Siren, Pixie, and hired claw are outlaws too
Mastermind is a good one. Those other ones you don't want to be spending 2 mana to kill.
@@d00mwakeMaybe not siren, but I could see you wanting to kill a pixie or hired claw
modern sideboard video would be dope and or a modern meta spells list of any kind :)
I know its pretty far away but rotation is gonna be pretty interesting. 12 of the 18 cards rated B or higher rotate at the end of the year
Can you do the same for Pioneer too?
No feed the cycle? I experimented a bit in some self mill decks and its decent
Haven’t tried that one myself
Long goodbye was great against raffine pre rotation
Tribal/typal tier list? Many formats to choose from, but can be Standard.
How come Parting Gust was omitted? I mean, it's another middling option but definitely has a place in some decks. :)
Forgot about that one! Honestly probably better than both Get Lost and Soul Partition, very underplayed
Was The End left out by accident? Or do you not feel it's worthy of putting into a tier?
4 mana is too much IMO
What about Sheoldred’s Edict?
Sac Planeswalker
Sac a Non-token
Sac Token creature
Good against Kaito
Go For the Throat 1
Cut Down 2
I don’t care about bounce meta that makes Nowhere to Run overrated right now
What about Stroke of Midnight???? such a good card!
3 mana 😭
What about most played cards ? Maybe for a short !
My take on flood maw has been that unsummon and TTABE pushed it into sideboards. The versatility to bounce your own stuff matters too much.
yeah TTABE is soooo much better
If artifact aggro is actually a thing after the new set, shoot the sherif may see more play.
Yeah maybe more artifacts will get played
floodpits drowner legit s tier :P if you stretch definitions
teeeeeeeeechnically
I suppose Unwanted Remake replacing the creature you've just destroyed is kinda garbage, but it's a 1-mana instant. I'm still undecided on it.
Yeah I'm not a big fan of that one
Virtue of persistence should count
Good call! I'd probably put it mid tier die to being sorcery speed

I think it just goes to show how bad the removal spells are in white
@ That’s fair. White has some good stuff but the instant speed removal is lacking.

1 drop tier list
I’m just here in the comments to watch the Get Lost discourse unfold. **Michael-Jackson-Eating-Popcorn**
Every time you Get Lost a Heartfire Hero an angel gets it's wings
Get lost seems way to high ...
Day 76 of asking for Tron lands on arena
No sheoldreds edict lol
worse than Blot Out IMO
