Egman I really appreciate the epic shoutout! and you were 100% correct the Marco is for the black match up mostly lucci sadly did not vs any lucci but it still came up a lot in none black match ups. I think its a solid card and could open up none standard Zooro builds to counter the meta.
Big fan of the 7c Doflamingo in the deck. I think Doflamingo's strong suit is aggression, and while gravity blade is obviously an incredibly strong card, it doesn't advance your board at all, only reduce the opponent's. So instead of paying 7 for that, you can pay 7 for Doflamingo, bounce nearly anything on field, especially if it's on curve, and then you have a 7k attacker going forward that can become a 9k right off the bat going for game with Perfume Femur. AND in the mirror it could only get removed by another Doflamingo, cause Law, Jozu, and Gravity Blade can't touch it.

@@TheEgman I mean, Doffy is warping the format. You identified the poor positioning of Enel prior to 8.5 both in overall showing and performance. Now it is receiving significant play because it is predatory towards Doffy decks. What would it take to land it in tier 0?
@travisodell1040 biggest indicator for me right now that, despite being the most played deck this weekend by a wide margin, it only won 1 event and was only under represented in two of them. I would need to see it take more of the top cut more consistently to brand it tier 0 personally
@@travisodell1040 name 1 meta deck that have less than 45% win rate against Doffy. I just can think in Pluffy, but that change in op09. Most of time Doffy is a 50/50 deck with 2 or 3 Bad Match UPS (less than 40% of win rate)

I went to Madison and finished 6-3. 7 of my nine matchups were blue Doffy. It was everywhere in that room.
I also went 6 and 3 at madison, and only hit 1 doffy all day long. Lol all I saw were yellow decks only 1 round I played a non yellow deck.

I think we can agree now that op01 doffy isnt a tier 0 deck.
I agree with this after this first weekend. It’s still going to be an adjustment period and I think the deck is strong. But not tier 0 yet.
