Here are some older magazines of mine, (i actually have a lot of them because i've hoarded them but i'm only going over 2 magazines in this video otherwise this would take foreverrr) i loveeee magazine flipping videos so i figured i'd do one myself! :)
I'm backkkk! and have a couple more videos for the next few days so stay tuned! pls drop a comment/about your favorite ps3/ps2 game :D (p.s also thank you mom and dad for buying these magazines for my siblings and i when we were younger, love you
Definitely Silent Hill 2 and 3 and Resident Evil 4
Uncharted Series on PS3 all time classic. ☺️☺️👏👏👍👍
never had a console. always PC
Resident evil 4, Tekken 3, Gran Turismo 1 and 2. Resident evil 3 Nemesis and Syphon filter series
Your voice is so hypnotic
I used to take these to school to read instead of my library book
You should make a game store video
I can't be the only one who got excited to buy the monthly magazines and reading through every page of them to get all the latest gaming news back in the day and then thinking about all the cool games coming out. Also the artwork on the covers were always very nice to look at :) Nice ASMR, I love the page flipping sounds.
You are not alone. The gamesradar, G2, and game informer magazines were on monthly rotation. Used to get so excited to see all the gaming news. 1999-2010 was a different time.
Indeed, you were the only one to read magazines back then, how incredible.
@@KarlSen 💀💀🤣
I used to go to the public library and sit there and read whatever latest issues they had. Game Informer, Nintendo Power. Those were the days :)
Bro so many people don’t believe me when I tell them I read about Fortnite in like 2013/14 in a Game Informer magazine, though naturally there wasn’t a battle royal mentioned in it, but I remember being hyped for the survival mode that they talked about, part of me wishes they had stuck with their old vision but they’d never have seen the huge success they have.
anyone remember the ps2 demo disc out of one of these mags that deleted your entire memory card? still haven't fully recovered from that
lmao omg i've never had that happen but holy crap if i did i'd be so mad
@@catplantASMR it was brutal
Dude, I remember. I felt so betrayed when that happened. Initially I thought for sure my little brother did something stupid then I realized it was actually my fault for trying out that evil demo disc.
I remember borrowing that exact issue of PSM at 28:42 from my neighbor and reading through it many times. This was really nostalgic. Definitely one of my favorite videos you've made.
Omg Final Fantasy XI was my favorite game back then! I remember my mom would pay for my MMORPG FFXI service 🤣👌🏼
My Mom was the best! 💕
I remember being a Taru Taru Blu Mage 🙏🏼
The game was insanely harder than any Souls Game! 💯
haha i am jealous! your mom is sweet. i couldn't seem to convince mine or justify it
I love the Resistance trilogy on PS3
This is nostalgic, reminds me of when I used to buy these. I remember the PlayStation magazines where you used to get demo discs for PS1 and PS2. Relaxing and nostalgic, great ASMR as always 💯👍
i miss those physical copy demo days! i always looked forward to what they had inside of them :)
@@catplantASMR I personally bought myself a PlayStation 2 finally finally I got the chance . I play everyday atfer work to clear my head from stress 🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻 I always loved your voice it takes the pain away thank you
PlayStation magazine? They had awesome demos and even secret tips in video format on the discs too.
I absolutely loved this video and I've been watching/listening to it on repeat while I work. I'd love to see more of these, it could even be a series where you dig up old gaming magazines and flip through them. It could actually be any type of magazine that you're into. I'd watch it!
Jak, Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper are all legendary. Every one of their games are classic
I swear, it's like you know when I've had a stressful day and just need to chill and get some good sleep. Hope you're good, Cat
I'm obsessing over your videos..omg. Especially the gaming ones, they're my absolute faves!
I still refused to believe you are 30 years old
Yeh she's way younger than you 🤭
haha well thank you! imma 90's baby! :3
oh man, pages crinkling, your lovely voice and talking about games. This video sure hit a sweet spot for me:)
I remember having most of these exact issues esp the DMC3 issue..good times..
Lets put it this way, I was able to work in an industrial environment and still be very relaxed while listening.
Your whispering voice is 10 /10!
Thank you for the awesome video!
Do you work at an Amazon warehouse?
She's so cool
My god seeing that Kof 13 art of Ryo and Terry just sent me back to that whole era of fighting games starting to emerge again post SF IV. Also the sounds reminded me of just looking over a game informer with a friend during lunch. Good vibes and times.
I don't care what anyone says, Gaming magazine > Gaming website. I don't care what you say!! GameFan = GOAT of Game magazines
Can I suggest a topic? I know you love games. I don't really think anyone does video game reviews in ASMR. You like the same kind of games as me (mostly) and I think they would be really enjoyable to watch!
My new favorite video, I still have all my old video game mags! This really took me back. Also no one does sponsor ads as good as you do! Thanks Cat love your stuff as always! 😁
Your notification made my entire day better!! thanks for the amazing content, you're so pretty!! 💜🥺
PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Power Magazines for me!!
I still have my EGM in spanish magazines from 2005-2008 that I used to buy when I was in highschool in Mexico. Loved Hsu&Chan comic 😂
Wow.... this video and...wow her too! Can i say shes so pretty? And the game book! Just amazing vid
I don't care what anyone says, those vintage magazines were made from special trees in the sky 😄 very nice!
From trees in Columbia created by Comstock himself
This brought back so many memories for me as a gamer especially in the 2000s where gaming was at its peak
This brings me back to when i was a child and these magazines would give you a demo disk! I was never allowed to buy them but i always loved looking at them 😅
I read video game magazines all the time catplant my friend maybe we will get some old a d new magazines will that be great?🌹😍😁🤗😘🌟💖
First of all, you are very very pretty girl. 💐 And second, there are so many cool games mentioned in this video. Nostalgie! I recollect the times when I was a kid and played almost all of this stuff. 👍
53 minutes!?!?! Let's goooooooooooooooooo
I have one of those game books when I went to GameStop and bought a game on the Playstation 2 and the original. One of them was the "GameInformer" with the original games and the new PS2 including my driving game "Burnout 2 Point of Impact (my birthday gift)!😀💙🎂👍.
EGM was my absolute jam. still have a may 1999 issue that featured star wars episode 1 the video game.
I used to love reading gameinformer so much growing up me and my brother hoarded them aswell! 😄
Thank You Catplant for the chilled gaming ASMR.
Third one is the best bro go play it. Dmc
i bought it
Please do more of these!!!!! I actually have that magazine somewhere in my house........ the first one you looked at
OLDER gaming magazine? i didnt know modern ones existed 😂
You should def play Bioshock 2, it's my fav
hey beautiful, love to see you upload 🐈🌱
Love the nostalgia throwback Cat! I had 4 of us friends who hung out together every weekend and would hammer out Pokemon battles while mulling over stacks of GameInformer. Very tingly video too, thank you! ❤
Btw did you ever play Resident Evil 2? The new movie Welcome to Racoon City has some amazing set pieces, right out of the game. Really cool. Anyways thanks for the comfy vid!
oh yes i played the original RE2 and remake both in claire's mode :) thank you :)!!
i still have all of my "dreamcast" magazines. i have every issue ever released.
Bioshock 2 ASMR Playthrough lmao
I used to being issues of EGM to middle school in the 90s just to watch other people flip through them and I always thought I was just a creep and then I discovered ASMR was a thing in about 2014 when I searched for people flipping through magazines
I had tingle immunity for a bit. This video fixed that for me. I think it's a top 5 ASMR video for me. Thanks!
10:38 It's actually The King of Fighters; not Street Fighter.
Devil May Cry 3 is a prequel. Definitely play it and also Devil May Cry 4 and 5.
I wish they made a God of War collection on PS5.
whoops lmao i misread there. omg i really should play dmc3! i think it's on the switch??
@@catplantASMR You're correct. Capcom released a digital version of Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition on the Nintendo Switch. Devil May Cry 4 and Devil May Cry 5 are not on the Switch though.
Catplant was literally that one cute girl that works at GameStop
I remember when I use to buy these magazines it makes me feel so nostalgic 🐸 have you played the CHRONO CROSS Remaster game, the whispering from this video gave my ears tingles✨ your voice is so calming😊thank you for another amazing video I appreciate the hard effort😺keep up the Great Work girly!!! and take care 👍
Nice whispers
🌬🕊💤Catplant 🌟
Tomorrow is my birthday :D
happy bleated birthday!!!!! :D
I would love for this to be a series! I've already watched this one a dozen times. Page turning is one of my favorites and I love old gaming magazines). Nostalgia + asmr = win
Amazing, You are so cute 🖤 😍
Damn bro. I remember my friend who used to work at GameStop and his brother would bring these type of magazines to school. Simple times.
Game Buster magazine was my fave.
Hi catplant, your so beautiful as always
resident evil 5 was a good game
I'm so jealous you have an old magazine Caroline,im going to start saving things NOW!!!
Omg I got so excited when I heard you talking about Ratchet And Clank. I don't think I've every heard you mention those games, and I just get so nostalgic when I think back to when I played them.
Absolutely loved this video. I really do enjoy listening to you whispering about things you're passionate about, and the Page turning was a really good addition here. Love all of the sticky pops and crackles that your lip gloss makes as you speak. Keep it up Catplant!!! 💗
I really want to play the new one sometime :)
This is such a cool idea . Much simpler times lol
She's back! Maybe time for a hilarious collab with a channel like MXRPlays, where you attempt to teach Henry and Jeannie how to do ASMR... would be good exposure for both channels.
When she said the video was sponsored by Raid, I thought she was talking about the roach spray, LOL
You can find the best videos here, with the friend cat plant ,😄 ♥
Wow, it's so weird seeing these after so many years.... Blast from the pastt
One of the things that make me laugh and calm my anxiety is that sometimes I feel like you're being sarcastic but your not. When you said "we don't like cheaters" too adorable lmao. Good night
That old Game Informer magazine is giving me nostalgia as I use to have Nintendo Power magazines. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us this week and hope you’re having a great Wednesday.😊😊🎮🎮
I still have old Nintendo Power magazines that I got in the mail back in 1988
ohhh man finally a video with really close up whispers 🥹🥹🥹
10:36 "And here we have Street Fighter"
*ouch.*
lmao i could never tell the different between the two
You are my new asmr discovery:) Very soothing voice, love vids about gaming too!
Catplant is the best all around ASMR creator. Very soft, lulling voice. Always filmed in high quality. The aesthetic is great. And her interests, knowledge, & skill (Overwatch badass) make her my goat. At least on the Mount Rushmore of ASMR.
Love this and loved the recent one you posted. So so good.
Thanks for your amazing content, Cat.
Who would be your 4 asmrtists on that mt rushmore? Im always curious to find new quality channels (for the record, mine would be asmrtica, ephemeral rift, ting ting and catplant)
Best ASMR video I've seen in months. Hopefully you've got plenty more magazines in your stash. =]
Great video!
this is possibly the best asmr video ever. good length, quality audio, nice pace. folding sounds of magazine are fantastic. very good whisper. been following for a long time but this is just top notch.
She’s beautiful guys, a real life Disney princess.
i cant believe its in such good condition!
big nostalgia trip
What really gets your heart rate going??
I just got a punching bag and a pair of nunchucks!?!!

AllIveBeenGamingOnIs(Fallout76)
lol
Reading about games in magazines was so fun. It should make a comeback like vinyl records.
I hope you do more of these. This has been my go-to whenever I go to bed or just want to relax
I remember accidentally romancing Morrigan and Leliana at the same time (I only intended to romance Morrigan) and since my party was myself (two handed sword), Alistair, Morrigan, and Leliana, there was some hilarious dialogue between them. I distinctly remember one time Morrigan tried to stake claim on me and didn't know how to phrase it so she just says to Leliana "I um....I don't like to share." "What do you mean?" "You KNOW what I mean." It was something to that effect. I thought it was hilarious because I had no idea I had romanced both of them until Morrigan told me in a conversation at camp that I needed to break things off with Leliana if I wanted to be with her. I was like, wait, what, since when am I dating Leliana? lol. Also, funny bug I noticed. If you played with friendly fire off (as in your stuff won't hurt your allies) you can actually talk to a character that was hit with say, a fireball spell, and the fire will pause, so you can have an entire, totally calm conversation with a character that is constantly on fire lol. It's like an in game representation of the "this is fine" meme lol.
One thing the game also did really well was weave romance into the main narrative. I distinctly remember Morrigan gave me a romantic gift, i teased her about it, she acted a little embarrassed, and then shortly afterwards, I was kidnapped during a main story objective. But lo and behold, Morrigan let's the rest of the party know that the romantic gift she gave me is a ring, and that ring actually tells her exactly where I am as long as I'm wearing it, so they can rescue me. Blew my mind at the time. Romance stuff is usually an isolated and separate part of the game due to it being optional, so I couldn't believe they wove it in so seamlessly and in a way I did not expect. And then they topped it by weaving the romance with Morrigan into the main narrative again at the end of the game in a really cool way that actually gives you a different possible ending.
lmao that's pretty funny not gonna lie. the romance was really well fleshed out like you could play it many times just for that aspect :)
I love Dragon Age: Origins, it really opened my eyes to what a really awesome RPG with consequences for all your decisions, would be like. Kind of ruined RPGs for me too, after DA:O Nothing could compare except the Mass Effect Trilogy. And that was so awesome.
Dante😮💨
I had that exact magazine with Dante on the cover. I had completely forgotten about it. Suddenly I’m reminded of that magazine, and how hyped i was for DMC3 way back then
Could you make some no talking content someday? Your mic quality is enjoyable and I would prefer no talking. Of course do what pleases you, just a request.
These vids bring me back to my teenage years i remember having a basket full of psm2 and offical playstation magazines and sonic the comics i miss those days thanks for bringing me back
Yay! I used to love your old games magazines videos, so glad you did another one!
MadWorld is supercool. It's one of my "hidden gem" favorite games for the Wii. Still play it from time to time!
It also has historic value, since it was the very first published PlatinumGames title.
oh wow, never thought i would see Giants: Citizen Kabuto in a magazine. fun game, but very, very buggy. not surprised they put it in as name that game, since i don't think very many people played it.
26:00 A Game Informer article is titled ‘Valkyrie Profile’, I didn’t know she had made it big in 2009.
at 47:17 the game to the right of Sly is a game thought of by the hip-hop industry in the early 00's - 90's, it features a lot of now classic MC's and artists kicking the living shit out of each other in a street ring/fight. Hip-hop's own fighting game
Awesome video
shin megami tensei!!! Play Persona 3!! Thats where it all began. One of my favorite RPGs of all time
Lord of the rings "Videogame movies we want to see"?. But Lord of the Rings was originally a Movie first before the games that were based on the movies were released. I don't get it. Was this a troll/meme?
I still have my old magazines. I loved PSM. I started in the late ‘98s and stopped in the early 2000s
Devil May Cry 3 is the best of First 4 installments.
You've got to try it. DMC3 ASMR
One of the best asmr videos! So nostalgic, I miss the old days.
Can we get more like this?
💣💥❤️🔥🥳😍😍😍😍🤘
Jak 3 was sick
I can't believe they gave a 7 to The Return of Matt Hazzard. That was one of the top 5 worst games I ever played.
