I have a question if possible I have the same issue but at the same time when I go into the settings the modern firmware is there and it’s at & t paid off and they factory unlock it you know ... I fixed iPhones and android too but I don’t do motherboard issues ... no water 💦 damage or anything iPhone look brand new ... no service issues .... Excellent video my friend
Baseband RF is the biggest circuit in mobile phones. No signal with modem firmware present mean other components in the circuit, most likely IF chipset.
Fixed. But only just? There was only 1 bar of reception after all that? This is the majority problem with iPhone 8 is that usually it only has a bar or 2 of reception
SomeRandomGuy There 2 different types of baseband boards(Qualcomm for us and the rest of the world and intel for UK and most of European countries) We have seen evidence of Qualcomm board gets short inside the chipset, because of whatever the reason poor design or something, and it’s common in Qualcomm BB CPU, but it’s very rare in intel Baseband. The main part of your question I still couldn’t understand, whether you took your phone to a shop for repair and you are worried that they might damage your baseband? Or it might die? the answer is while repairing the baseband chip shouldn’t die unless you overheat the chipset and fry | kill it. Repairing the baseband is quite hard thing as it’s very close to Main cpu(processor & SD RAM) so overheating the board can even kill your motherboard. now you have a clear picture, but you shouldn’t be too much worry as they booked your repair only if they know what they are doing,
Yes there are factory recall on Qualcomm board. But most of the time it occurs when someone does audio ic repair unprofessionally. Coz baseband is opposite side of the codec and overheating the board in this particular area requires experience with extra care as both the CPU and base band have under-fill and that black glue shrinks when you overheat the motherboard. In result baseband needs to recall after few months.
hi R L. 320 for 7mm nozzle 310 for 9mm. i phone 7-8 baseband Note; don't follow others Temperature setting, set your own temperature depending on your own experience, what kind of work you are doing(eg what factors are involved around your desire working area of the board and other side of the board) depending on you hot air station and nozzle size.

Baseband needs to be repaired, you can send us your phone(s) using our mail in repair link for repair.
Did you solder back original bb or did you put the new one?
BB CPU is Not Replaceable, There is not any programmer out yet to program Baseband.
@@SoftSolutionsRepairsUK How likely for BB cpu to die? I took my iPhone 8 to repair shop and I am nervous.
i couldn't understand your questions properly, Can you be more specific?
are you worried they might damage your BB CPU?
@@SoftSolutionsRepairsUK Sorry about that. My question was can BB cpu chip die completely. What are chances for that to happen.

this is an inherent fault with Iphone8's. There should be a factory recall on theres phones.
