Week 4- PRAYER A DAY FOR ADVENT- 🕯️💜🕯️Sunday, December 22, 2024

As we enter Week Four of the Holy Season of Advent🕯️💜🕯️, we focus on the arrival of Joseph and Mary to the little town of Bethlehem. How tired and worn out the couple must have felt, only to have been greeted by no room at the Inn. And having the task of finding a suitable place of rest for Mary to give birth to the Messiah. We continue with Advent prayers, a quote from Saint John Chrysostom, Father & Doctor of the Church, the Three Hail Mary devotion in honor of the Gospel reading for Sunday- the visitation of Elizabeth, the cousin of Mary. As always, we pray the Prayer of the Week focusing on Love; the theme of week four. And lastly, we pray the prayer of the day.
If time permits nothing else, say these prayers each day of Advent.🕯🎍🕯
