@@bluewhale2163 Technique = Strength applied in a smart way. There's a reason Gordon Ryan didn't remain 160lbs nor will he lose weight. BJJ works for everyone, but it works EVEN BETTER as you get bigger. Try dropping your weight and float pass like Gordon in NoGi when you're 120lbs and let me know how that works on your 200+lbs teammates that you don't outskill by a mile
@@bluewhale2163 Lol no you're fine I'm just explaining what Technique is and why size/strength matters (even though people thinks it doesn't), especially in NoGi
@@inyourfacegaming7221 did it yesterday actually. We worked on passing knee shields. Never said it made it a cult, said it makes it look like a cult. And that’s not really a statement about BJJ, any organization that decks their place out with pure white is gonna look cultish
The black on everyone is unsettling
Ever learn about why private schools have dress codes? Look into it. It could very well be a large reason AOJ is so successful.
AOJ passing: attempt to pass then fall back for a foot entanglement? 🤔
They have nogi uniform for practice?
homeboy had a neck made of steel wow
Perfect
Love to see Cole medal this adcc
Idk why but I expected more technique
Competitors always use their attributes, especially in NoGi. And honestly you have to at a certain level
@@derrickrobinson7269 makes sense, I suppose a big reason for Gordon Ryan’s dominance is his weight when he’s fighting other world class competitors

wtf is up with his skin? it’s all red at the hands, feet, and back of his neck
sunburn probably
it's the camera settings.
that makes no sense. no one else being filmed there has red hands and feet
he got sunburned on his palms and bottom of his feet?
Are they required to wear the black spats? Seems kinda lame
Yeah they’re actually held at gunpoint unless they wear them
All black for No Gi and all white for Yes Gi. I guess Mendes bros love that monochromatic vibe.
@@tricyclemishap little culty but ight 😆. Maybe it's the wrestler in me but I just had wearing long sleeve rashguards
@@tricyclemishap It so it looks cooler in the yt videos
@@BrandonGiordano some people appreciate the structure and disciplined style, i personally enjoy a more relaxed setting, brother
Never noticed how red he gets.

It’s anaconda here

yo does everyone have staph in this video??? wtf is going on with everyones skin
I don’t know why gym pick the style of all white mats and walls.
It’d make me feel like I was actually joining a cult
Have you not done jui jitsu ? It’s a fine line between a sport and a cult.

Uniforms make them look corny lol 😂
gotta square up hips and pivot in order to get more leverage on the pass.. nice job tho. :)
