It's really interesting to see how Tainan has adapted gi passing to no gi. Aside from the lack of gator rolls, it looks like passing in the gi but adjusted with different grips to make him just as sticky. Serious master class here
Já tava bão demais. Aí essa molecada pisa no tatame. Me derrubou! Segue firme, Tainan! Muito sucesso e que Deus te abençoe. Heart melted by the young squad at the end... Thumbs up, sensei. Keep it going. Keep it flowing!
Taza had a hard time getting the leg entanglements because Tainan game is centered around Gi style control. Tainan doesnt fight No Gi like alot of these modern no gi guys. Its more of a traditional style low and slow pressure, control type No Gi game. Def shake things up a little
Taza made some comment about that too but let’s think about it. Tainan is 10 years younger, 10 lbs heavier, has been training since he was 5. Tainan is nowhere near the egregious levels of juice monkey that we see in this sport every day, this match isn’t just him overpowering Taza with raw power
@@pninnan What a stupid statement. How would you have any idea of where he is in the range of non juiced to egregious juice monkey? And who cares - slightly juiced is still cheating.
Tainan got tested by USADA when he won his 2nd world championship. You really shouldn't make claims like this unless you know they are true. He's a fulltime pro and to call him a cheater is a disgusting allegation.
Think Taza gets a tough rap, Tainan and Josef are not everyday competitors and he held his own here. It’s not easy taking a guy down when they got tree trunk legs.
How can Taza lose this match when he trains exclusively nogi with DDS? I’m disappointed in Taza tbh. Expected much more from him. Tainan is no slouch but he’s mainly a gi player 😅
His defense on being put in a bad position was not great though. I would rather get submitted by a heel hook than get my guard passed and put in bad dominant position multiple times.
This is the level of manhandling that makes you doubt if you should continue competing in BJJ at all. At least this is how I would feel if I was the recipient of the .. um .. "cheek clapping" portrayed in the video. If you couldn't tell, I'm as casual as it gets, and will remain this way.
FLO IS DOPE FOR RELEASING THIS ON RUclips
Amazing commentary ! With Shawn Williams it is like watching a live instructionnal !
Tainan is a savage. I really wanna see Tainan vs one of the Ruotolos or just an AOJ vs ATOS Quintet or something.. or AOJ vs B-Team
Tainan vs bodoni would be awesome.

Dalpra vs Ryan (No-😢Gi) Dalpra vs Meregali (Gi), MUST SEE!

O atleticismo do Tainan é sinistro!
Tainan must be atleast 5-10lb bigger here. I understand they probably weighed in similar but there's a huge strength difference
Lol just saw at the beginning, he weighed in 185 Vs taza 178...
Based off Taza's physique, it looks like he doesn't lift weights.

Excellent analysis
Jozef and now Tainan, is taza a JR now??
I really would love see that
Tainan has been using that acai juice.

@@pninnanthe recent pictures of his coach rafa are ridiculous
Which top BJJ athlete hasn't? lmao. EVen despite the Ruotolos being advocates against PED usage in Jiu Jitsu, I highly doubt they are clean.

Yeah Tainan is super super high level and just looked much stronger. Taza did well

Tainan really didnt do anything new here. What i really enjoyed was Taza's defense.

Yes, being under pressure for so long gives me goosebumps@@Kingkong-kb7wd
Dalpra looks like he could be 40

jUST BRAZILIAN...... e segue o baile.
Interesting to see the shoulders reacts so good like some steriod receptors to the juice.. interesting
Because Tainan lifts consistently and trains 5x week like a fulltime professional athlete should? Get the fuck out of here.
kid level wrestling
no one knows you
Oliver Taza looked terrible in this. Sorry to say, but he just doesn't seem to have what it takes to really hang with the top guys.
I also think he was at an significant strenght disadvantage.
Enormous size & strength disadvantage
idk if i have ever watched a match where he won
Taza probably doesn't lift consistently like Tainan does. It's that fucking simple.
just like other matches and other grapplers.yeah. @@molnoob3451
Tainan got cheeks!! 🍑
Tainan started taking steroids

He is not as impressive as Mica galvao, he is certainly powerful but does not carry out any attacks to finalize.
True, but he's got the potential to develop that lethality too. Still green in Nogi comps.
