The writing here is great. Building that dread and tension from the listener’s perspective, raising all these questions like “is mom a victim here” “is she really just being controlled” and the powerlessness they bring up. And then having this episode be mom coming in, easing the fear, and then getting a hard example of just where mom’s priorities lie and just how independent she still is. Tension and then relief. Chefs kiss.
This just gets better and better. So so happy that momma bear is still herself, so that's an enormous weight off my shoulders as the listener. I'd be really pouring out to her every thought and feeling racing through my head since discovering Olivia is a vampire, and wishing that she would have told me everything that was going to happen before getting turned instead of planning everything behind my back. After all that and venting all of it out to her I would have broken down into tears, overwhelmed by everything 😢. I wonder and hope she will turn us into a vampire as well in the future if everything works out here, or sooner if things aren't going to work that way we'd be somewhat safer from Olivia's power (hopefully protected from any hypnosis or complusion) and wouldn't just be an eternal blood bag. We'd also get to experience that bond Olivia spoke of and with someone very dear to us already ❤️. As the listener I feel jealous of not having that type of bond and never being able to experience it while stuck as a human.
As long as Mom is still herself and Olivia can keep her hands to herself im fine with the situation. Part 1 is all set it seems and part 2 shouldnt be too big a deal after THAT.

ok this is sweet and all but I was hoping for a slightly darker turn of the listener being afraid of his mother now. Edit: Don't get me wrong its amazingly written and Dangerous blew it out of the water as always but realistically I think the listener should be shitting bricks right about now. Full of hate and pain and a want to run away and never see either of them again. At least for a while and that's all before the weight of now being immortal come crashing in.
I think most of the shock has worn off by now after the first and second parts. Still need time to completely adjust and process and probably will have some discussion with their mom later on about it all, but for now I think the listener is settled a bit. Everyone has their way of reacting. I think the listener has a greater threshold of acceptance than most people which is a good thing here
I would still love Mommy with all my heart but I think some part of my subconscious will always be on guard against her. It also makes me feel bad when I hear how unset it made her, literally throwing Olivia out of the house. It's just that it would be impossible for my subconscious not to develop a negative response towards Mommy, especially when in Olivia's presence. I'm really glad this got a continuation though. This is definitely one of my favorites.
Idea for the next part, you find out the your father was Olivia’s 1st feed and she felt guilty so she mended her soul by entering both your life and your mothers to help in Anyway she could. But you are smart enough to find out and tell mother and she confront her
