I have a question it would be so helpful if you replied :) So basically i love to slick my hair but i dont want to wash it out all the time because i dont want to wash my hair every single time i slick it, but if i dont then it will be crusty and itchy. I have the same hair type as you and i use eco styler gel so any tips or advice?
Eco is verryyy flakey so maybe a different type of gel

that pink moisturizing oil works really well on my 4C hair. But I usually moisturize in sections because it works way better for me. Maybe another reason it may not be working is because you have a bit of wax in your hair? But honestly, it probably just doesn't work for everyone.
