    The Bradley is the worlds best IFV that has been combat proven the most. Two Bradleys just managed to disable/destroy a Russian T-90M in Ukraine as they manuvered and took out the tanks systems with the 25mm cannon. There is acutal footage of the incident which makes it even more incredible. Bradleys taking out tanks with the TOW is common but first time I seen it with the cannon. Also, the Bradley has proven vital to saving lives when compared to the death trap that is Russian equivalents.

    The basic design is old. The main gun is small compared to newer designs. The TOW missiles are outdated. But sensors and sights have been continually improved. Which is very important.
    But a replacement is needed. And it's happening currently.

    Why M2 Bradley don't use FGM-148 Javelin??

    • @gavinsimmonsmccullum4219
      @gavinsimmonsmccullum4219 7 дней назад

      The Bradley has the TOW because the Bradley is about 10 years older than the introduction of the Javelin. They weren't thinking about the Javelin during production. Note that the TOW launcher is a rather permanent piece of the vehicle's body. Not only is the TOW way cheaper, but the Army also has a lot of them because so many other platforms use the TOW. In the Marines, a version of the LAV also fires the TOW. Redundancy! The TOW also has more range. I had a standard LAV in the Marines which has basically the same 25mm as a Bradley but we also had a weapons team with us now and then and they carried the Javelin.

    To date almost 40% OF THE Bradley infantry fighting vehicles supplied to Ukraine have been Lost or Damaged in the Ukraine Counteroffensive
    A Bradley IFV was seized by Russian troops after an engine failure in the Luhansk region of Ukraine. when the Ukrainian crew bailed out, the vehicle was in pristine condition

    • @Ianmundo
      @Ianmundo 10 месяцев назад +4

      production doesn’t need to be restarted, the US have only supplied Ukraine with ~200 M2 Bradleys out of ~5000 that the US has. The ODS version they gave to Ukraine is the old version (post-Operation Desert Storm), not the most modern M2A3 version in this video
