    Can i ask what material is used for a aileron hinge? and how does it keep durability and flexibility if it is soaked by resin

      Kevlar is used for the hinges it can be scored with a blade and once the resin is cracked the Kevlar will last for years as a hinge.
      However this is Chinese manufacturing at its norm and they only used an extra layer of glass. Most of these companies and workers only use bare minimum in materials and the workers only do as they are taught and have little knowledge of proper composite layup.

      @@danevannett3804 I have few European gliders and some use kevlar other use peelply (at least it looks like that) material for the hinges

      @ferincr Yeah same here I also mold sailplanes I always use Kevlar sometimes with a strip of 1/4 oz. Glass cloth so after scoring the Crack line is cleaner and it also gives a little more stiffness for F3F ships.
