I'd rather be quickly underwhelmed than slowly underwhelmed. If there was some *variety* on planets, slowly traversing them would be a joyful experience. But even after the Worlds Part 1 update, the "diverse biomes" still don't feel that diverse, so exploring still feels kind of pointless and boring.
@@SoundAuthor if you’re just exploring aimlessly then yeah. Exploring just for the sake of it is more often than not gonna be underwhelming. In my opinion you have to have a goal.
@@Aeon3 Exploration is not purpose driven, but rather influenced by a childlike curiosity and desire to experience something new. If you have a goal, you aren't exploring. You're trying to do something specific. That's not exploration. That's a quest.
Better than using save editor, I maxed ship in save editor but when your flying to planets and hit the atmosphere it glitches out and and spits you back in the direction you came from.
As cool as it is to go fast. It trivialises both space travel and ground exploration. The worlds will feel smaller as it reduces your sense of scale.

All well and good to go fast on a PC with a mod, but if you are playing against someone on PS5 e.g. you have an unfair advantage.
