man I'm 26, really miss the good ol days
Glad I'm not the only idiot that still remembers this randomly. Can't believe I was 19 when this came out..
I can remember it as well - particularly weird given I was 8 at the time
I was 13 LOL
I was 11 lol
I was also 19 when this came out
@@SorinCloud sucks getting old lol
Years later I came back here to show this to my now 3 year old and let me just say my entire household was enthralled, danced and loved it.
I feel like I just shared a special piece of classic RUclips and it was amazing.
❤
Remember when RUclips was full of creativity and joy? Pepperidge Farm remembers
The only thing I remeber is a nine gag rage comic where the guy tries to suicide by getting run over but the two lights end up being motorcycles.
Now we've captured that feeling. So you can enjoy it whenever, wherever. Simple Rick's
Ooo I member!
Yeah I remember
It was today
When youtube wasn't depressed
Remember when we were happy and we didn't even know it?
Implying we aren't today? Don't make that mistake again! Realize why you are.
Nathan Ricketts shut up. You dont realize it.
No
no because most of you are still happy but faking depressed

Did you come here to feel old?

Welcome back to anyone coming to revisit this masterpiece
i was only 8 when this came out and remember listening to it all the time with my best friend at the time, just kids enjoying life and this nice little song about the memes we loved back then. now im 20 going into college with a job and i still come back to this amazing video thats now a time capsule of the nostalgia of our pasts. hope everyone in life is doing good and keeps on remembering the simpler times of the internet
Ah, the golden age of memes. Now, I have become a 30-year-old boomer,
Ughh about the same. 28 here. With all the crazy shit going on in the world, I came back to this vid to try to remember better times. I miss being a kid..
that fact that you know you're a boomer makes you a bettee boomer than other boomers, boomer
I know them feels bruddah
Your comment has given me a quarter life crisis
How are you 30 if you were born immediately after World War 2?

Now RUclips is just dabbing and Fortnite and pranks and other shit

A video casually mentioned this during its essay and so many memories were unlocked. Rewatching this after a decade feels like returning to a time the internet felt like a place to run to instead of avoid.
The feeling of being with the internet pre 2010 hits like a bullet train. Everything was so pure. Memes were funny and they didnt collapse on themselves and weren’t some commentary on society.
Memes really felt different back then
@@vovabars1234 I think its because memes weren't as prolific in popular culture back then as they are now

No shit. I remember when I saw this in 2011 it was the greatest shit ever.
Then I remember visiting the comment section again in 2014 and they said that this was cringe. (MLG memes on the rise)
Fast forward to 2016, the comments became how memes are now. (Edgy stuff and random suicide memes lmaook)
Now we are now in 2019.. Looking down the rabbit hole of the comment section how everyone missed the old days.

is this the life cycle of memes? first everyone uses the hell out of it, then 3-6 years later everyone looks back at them and cringes, then 8-10 years later they become nostalgic? like i remember in 2016, people shat all over these memes for being dated. these do bring back a shit load of nostalgia, now, though.
