    Very nice! Many youtubers haven't really explored working with sloping roads and complex terrain map. Hence their videos don't cover as much details as you have covered. Nice and thanks!

    nice but about Artisan, i dont like them because we cant purchase for "life" anymore but the only way is to rent per year and it costs a lot when we only need to use this addon 2 or 3 times per year....

    After you made each side of the road have the same number of vertices, you can do a Curviloft between the edges and it will create a quad surface that Fredo's thrupaint works with. Nice tutorial!

    Great video, thank you. What would you do if you have a road that crests over a hill and drops down the other side? Make planar seems to want to keep the road going in one slope direction and does not take into account that the road changes direction down the hill

    i have a question does the same apply if we have multiple branches of road with different width and elevation

    • @3DArtistree
      @3DArtistree  Год назад +2

      The elevation is determined by the terrain. The junction between road and secondary roads should follow properly. The challenge would be getting the texture mapping correct. You'd probably want to isolate the junction and texture that separately, and then treat each branch as its own road as far as building the quads. It all gets a lot easier if the road is equal width throughout.

    The background music feels like it coming from another window that’s left open. Doesn’t match.

      Thanks for the feedback. It's something I added in during editing. I tried to keep the volume low so it's just in the background, but I suppose it's a bit monotonous. I''ll try it without music next time. Thanks for watching!
