For some reason, SpeedTree is exporting my png files without transparency, even though the originals are in fact transparent. This was why my leaves were coming in with white in the background. Thank you for the save!
This is how you do it. Because Lumion doesn't support opacity maps, you need to convert the .jpg + Opacity map into a .png cutout, then reapply / swap the material to the leaves. You also want to be really careful trying to bring 3ds Max trees into Lumion without heavily optimizing them. I get the GrowFX version and then optimize it there by lowering the density and removing segments. You can also try an app like TransmutR, which will read FBX models with Vray materials. You can swap textures in Transmutr as well as poly reduce, then save as .skp for Lumion.
