Danielle Smith and the UCP have done far more costlier debacles than a mere $60 million. The UCP have done well over $80 billion in very costly debacles and mistakes.
In addition, the UCP have also treated the vulnerable, seniors, medical professionals, teachers, students rural property owners, the environment, and democracy in Alberta with disdain.
That's not a good thing.

So, Anand will accept the RCMPs recommendations....like she already knows it will just be recommendations. Criminal charges aren't an option then? How convenient, again. Sounds like a really slow response to a decade old problem...they just got caught this time.
the investigation did find "irregularities and disconcerting issues with the contracting process" and we're making sure this doesn't happen again oh and two employees were suspended without pay lol. She's right on it. Like pigs at the trough, no accountability, no integrity, license to steal.

Has anyone ever asked what the cost realisically should have been for the app. I have never heard a straight answer from anyone-just political posturing. On the positive side the app works like a charm in clearing customs for those who use it.
Least we actually got a functioning/useful app out of it, better than 80 mil on unused knockoff Tylenol or 1.4 billion on a non-existent pipeline.
The UCP blew well over $7 billion on that pipeline bet gone bad.
