Thank you. Not an eve player just saw the bbc news report saying the mini game would help fight covid, with 0 explanation of what the mini game was or how it would help. Still not 100% but seems they will use the players that have higher accuracy to identify real cell samples but also teach ai how to identify accurately. Brilliant idea. Not just for covid but for cancer etc... Keep up the good work people.
Much simpler: I just draw a triangle (4 clicks) in the center of the image. After level 30 we get 89 exp and 99K ISK with each submission regardless of the polygon you draw! We are limited to 5 submissions per minute and 200 per day.
i'm trying to find a study and scientific method to do this and really help but i'm failing miserably. I hate doing things and don't understand what i am doing
Yeah this one took me a while to understand. Essentially you are looking for groups of the dots around a core. Once they become to spread out they are iether there own core or simply don't belong to the main one. That may not help but it's hard to write out how this works
Im at lvl 31 and at this point there is never more than 2 cells per screen, usually a covid and a healthy cell, at least that what it looks like to me, sometimes 2 covid
To day level 66 : While we appreciate your enthusiasm, our team can only handle a limited number of reports per day. Please come back in 21 hours, 20 minutes, 1 second to continue contributing to the project. Ahahahah lol
With that rating you will have saved a lot of lives. Teaching an ai how to recognise an infection is huge. Not just for covid but cancer and other diseases. Well done.
@@DisownedHero do you get more XP for better accuracy or are you just going for a 'submitted'. I've been doing this for 4 months but havent been maxing out everyday
@@bentleybrant hi your xp is based on your accuracy rating in the top center. The higher that is the more xp you get per submission. Most of the submissions just say thanks and don't tell you if it's right or wrong. Occasionally they will throw one in that has a right or wrong answer. Get these right to make your accuracy go up get them wrong it goes down
@@DisownedHero thanks. I usually just do one or two circles. I almost never get a failure. It just always seems like the XP bar always has the same increase. I probably have to do it more often too if you completed it in 3 months. I'm only lvl 300 after 4months. Do you know when they will discontinue this project discovery? I'd hate miss out just because I didn't hustle hard enough.
@@bentleybrant it should be going for a while. think the last one was like over a year before they changed it to this new one. after so many a day the xp bar would stop going up. think its to stop people using bots or something and getting all the rewards on different accounts every few days or something

Aw so your one of the people destroying the science cuz all you care about is your game rewards. You should think about the fact you are teaching a computer. Thus if you just rush threw it you cuz more damage then good.
its designed to know people will gamify it for points. eves done project discovery for a long time no ones ruining it even gamifying it and not doing it as accurately is still helping just less so

Relatively new to Eve. Thanks for providing a clearer explanation for this than the developers do.
Project discovery has a real life impact do it Seriousely

How long does it take to get to 500?! years?
I believe if you max it out everyday for about 3 months you can get the marshal bpc. Not sure on how long to get the last reward not many go for it
