omg. just messed up my whole first projects sounds. in the last hour i made the first track on my second project (ever). finished, opened yt. first thing, i watch your video. i have a racing heart now while i listen to all the funny things that happened in my first project. that entire soundpool thing escaped me entirely and now i guess i'll go and have big glas of water. i'll need that for my tears.
Oh yes!! 🙏🏻 This video clarifies so much more then just transferring sounds. Explanations like “…this allows us to freely go wild with the parameters and not have to worry about possibly messing up the same loaded sound within another project” are such a spark of insight to me as a newbie to the Elektron world 😊 So thanks, good job 👍🏻
Storage is easily the most difficult part of all elektrons. Thanks Ricky. That will help a lot of people. Me included. I have followed you for a long time and am stoked that you went to Elektron. They needed you.✌️
Hello and thanks for your precious help . I bought electron syntakt. I us transfer and over bridge to connect to my Mac but why in the virtuel syntakt the différent sound do not show , there is not sound did I miss a step?
Can each bank have its own different sound pool or just one set per project? I had deleted the previous sound pool and added the one in the video but now that seems to have gotten rid of the default +drive sounds. How would I get those sounds back while still being able to keep my current sound pool?
What about the .syx file? (I purchased "Drum Spells" and "Tone Spells" for Syntakt .... already transfered the sounds but, what to do with the Sys file?)
n00b Q here: so I could literally record any audio (say via iPhone), and then upload straight to Syntakt via this method? or is there a quicker way? thanks!
hallå elektron lads, please bring finaly an OFFICIAL TRANSFER option/support for the LINUX user base! please, pretty please with surströmming on the top!
I am an idiot. Ive watched several videos of yours but never realized you work for Elektron! Do you know Shelby Cinca? He works for Elektron and is not only a badass musician but also just an all around awesome human being. I've played in a few bands in Richmond VA that have played shows with some of Shelby's bands.
The sounds in Syntakt are generated with synthesis, both digital and analog. Syntakt has 35 sound-generating machines, but no sampling machines. Syntakt will not playback audio samples.
3:44 - Hold up... "either option will result in the sound being loaded to the sound pool". Are you sure? Last time I checked loading a sound to a track does not load it to the pool unless this behaviour has been changed with a recent update. (I also only know this from the Digitone, I haven't verified with the Syntakt yet).
Good catch! You are correct. When using "LOAD TO TRACK" the selected sound will be loaded directly to the track and be made a part of the active pattern. Only "COPY TO" will copy the sound to the following destination.
@@WeAreElektron Right, glad I wasn't imaging this or missed a new feature. In speaking about this though, it WOULD be useful to load stuff into the sound pool while doing load to track. Many times I've had to do both so I could sound lock easier.
If I may to give one feedback: This sound going in the background is way too intense (in the first 20 seconds for sure). It could be of course just my speakers/mood though. But I thought I'd let you know :)
Hi can you make your own sound bank with your own samples? Thanks - this has always puzzled me as I do load sounds using transfer but get confused as to where they are stored and how to access them. Be great to organise them into a bank. I’m using a Digitakt. A video on how to use transfer to load your own individual samples would be super useful! Thanks!
Ricky your calm vibe is such a great thing, and I'm glad you're working with Elektron.

Elektron and Syntakt are both super dope!!

Ricky the voice of teaching ! Thank you so much bro 🙏✌

You are perfect for this type of presentation.
This is a great explainer. I always have a hard time getting my head around Sound Pool so this was super helpful
Thank you guys! You are real wizards who make production more interesting and accessible!
i never understood the difference between +Drive and sound pool until today...thanks Ricky!
Thank you Elektron and Enrique for this awesome video!
Load up my project! 😂
Glad to see you here Rick! Elektron is killing right now.
Thank you for saving me so much time
Sweeeeet! I'm excited to try the new sound pack also i was trying to figure out how the sound pool works as a new elektron user and this clarified it!
Oh Yeah! I always forget the SoundLocks!!! Thanks to remember this to me!
Great video and Ricky is a great fit for elektron. Is transfer a replacement for C6?

super cool.
If I create wavetables archives by my own, can I upload them by using the transfer program on a Digitone?

2:54 is this something unique to the Syntakt? I have a Digitone, almost never use the Sound Pool, and have never screwed up sounds in other projects.
Digitakt and Digitone both have sound pools per project, and both let you create sound locks on individual steps.

How to download with Digitakt in Soundpool? Isn’t the same. Thanks

Ricky is so chill I wonder if he is on Sativa
Wait what. Multiple sounds per pattern? holy shit. Had no idea
Do you mean per track?

Hey guys. Does this video mean we can use Syntakt as a sampler like Digitakt does ?? It’s not written anywhere on the web so I’m confused … thanks !

Does anyone know what headphones Rick is using?
Can you load your own samples?
The Syntakt doesn't play samples, that's what the Digitakt and OctaTrack are for.

Urgh! really struggling to preview some of the sounds - it seams to preview the digital sounds but just plays a clave when its analogue
Yay! @WeAreElektron and @RickyTinez teaming up. Seems like a partnership which will last a long time.

Hello, guys! Can we expect a further developing around Analog Four's Firmware?
If I may to give one feedback: This sound going in the background is way too intense (in the first 20 seconds for sure). It could be of course just my speakers/mood though. But I thought I'd let you know :)
Question for @WeAreElektron and @RickyTinez. how many sound files can be uploaded to each bank?
256 sounds in each bank A-H. Each project's Sound pool will hold 128 sounds.

Ricky is just cool. Great signing for the Elektron team. 🤩⭐️🪄
