    Invasions in any level bracket of elden are garbage😂 pick your poison. I play sl139

    at RL 200, you can give an optimized RL125-139 build 99 endurance to enable light roll with PSS, PSGS, etc and still hit 89 poise
    do with that what you will

      infinitely spammable light roll sounds good to me

    i mostly do arena duels at 125 with a str build and caster build. range in a 1v1 is not really much an advantage when they play aggressive. and yea its easy for str build to have like 40 endurange and still have damage close to a str build at lvl 150, 168, or even 200. while a mage with 50 int is not even close to the damage you would have at 80 int, on top of that you have to worry about fp too.

    • @bellmonk
      @bellmonk  4 месяца назад

      so casters get ranged attacks and less damage at 125, but at 200 get good damage AND range. str build gets no range and good damage at 125, and at 200 can have melee damage AND become a caster with FP so they have range too. I would rather play the bracket where people have fewer options to constrain their build.

      @@bellmonk like i said for duels it makes little difference that you have range. For invasions i agree with you. I would say the thing that mages makes a bitch at 200 is that they have so much more fp. Like lets be real in invasions mages have the same damage at 125 and 200 because you know they level 80 int over everything, 20 vigor is good enough for them lol

  • @mistakai4226
    @mistakai4226 3 месяца назад

    The truth is that if it is possible for you to have 80 int and 60 vig, you no longer have a build. It's also true that playing with a level 200 character is a lot of fun.

    I disagree because if you want playing a magic or faith focus build in elden ring you are at a disadvantage at lvl 125-150 compared to a strenght or dexterity or arcane build :
    => strenght/dexterity/arcane build have often 12-13 healing potion and 1-2 mana potion
    => intel/faith caster build only have 7-8 healing potion because they need 6-7 mana potion
    => at LVL 125 with a strenght or dexterity build you can obtain the hard cap in vigor + strenght (or dex) + endurance : you have everything for your build and you don't need the rest
    => this is not the case for a caster (intel or faith) build because you also need upgrade your mind and put some point in strenght/dex and endurance for the minimum requierment of your weapon and armor
    This is why if you want playing caster with a complete build with 60 vigor, 38 mind, 40 dex (for max cast speed with the talisman of radagon) and 80 in intel or faith you must be near LVL 200

      A strength build has to reach you to do anything. Int builds can cast at range and have a pocket moonveil or cipher pata. It is perfectly reasonable that a strength user is at the advantage of higher stats in close combat, while the mage has the advantage of range. It is also reasonable then that a mage will sacrifice some stat flexibility in exchange for star shower access or whatever it might be at 125.
      The same argument applies in reverse- what do strength builds get after they have capped their damage & defense stats? Why would they level to 200 where their main advantage over mages etc is rendered 0?

      @@dseer4350 yeah this is two different gameplay but none of them is better than the other : spamming double spear crouch attack is not more fun than spamming comet
      At lvl 125 strenght build are just better than int build because they need more stat for shine, so if you like magic play at LVL 200...

    • @bellmonk

      str builds are very optimal at 125 but those builds still have to have some tradeoffs. poor elemental damage, and lower weapon variety than some of the hybrid quality builds. Magic users have to make tradeoffs at 125, and that is usually in the area of weapon stat requirements for mind. that’s a fair trade off. mages also have the advantage of range and should in general have more blue flasks. what you gain in those 75 levels for your character is magnified for the ganks you run into because of how broken having extra fp is at higher levels. simply put, the dangers of fighting outnumbered increase even more in a game where you are already at a huge disadvantage.

    • @bulle0823
      @bulle0823 4 месяца назад +2

      @@Flower-o7 a mana potion +12 give you 220 Fp and with 38 point in mind you have 221 Fp so this is completely useless to have more than 38 in mind
      => for exemple if you have 40 in mind you lose 2 stat point...
      By the way 38 point in mind is not useless because you can use Lusat staff for maximum damage as if you were using Carian regal scepter with only 30 in mind

    1 comment here. RL 200 is great because of 1 single element. At RL 150 you can still meet highly overleveled phantoms compared to urself. AT RL 200 you can counter this by simply having equivalent same stats and that stats above RL 200 wont matter as much as the gap between 150->200

    Yeah... i'll keep invading at RL60. I dont see (as much) AOW spam, a lot of people still havent levelled vigor, and nearly everyone is playing the game first and foremost. Barely any dedicated ganks, just got to contend with overlevelled phantoms, and thats what my antspur is for
    Edit: actually there is still a ton of AOW spam but not nearly as much magic spam and, maybe crucially, less AOW spam from heavy stat investment weapons. You still see ppenty of blasphemous blade or sacred relic sword but the actual weapon tends to not hit as hard

      I think that if rl125 doesn’t have enough activity (I think it will) then 150 is definitely best. rl139 has also worked well in the past.
