i saw him in person 6 or 8 times and had the extreme pleasure of meeting him after one of the shows. my daughter and I had another wonderful gift when he posed with us for a photo. he was the nicest and sweetest person. i miss him .....so much!!!
I saw him in 1980(?) on Broadway doing 'Up In One' a more or less one man show. It was fantastic. I even got an autograph. He is one singer who's songs will always touch me, make me laugh or cry. I'd never seen this before - thank you!
I watched the mini serious,the other night, it was Fabulous... I"m still crying!!! what a wonderful little boy, that grew up to be an amazing man !! Australia is soooo proud of you!! and your mother adored you soooo... you were truly loved and thats what matters in the end. Thank you for your beautiful songs that came straight from the heart, gone too young too soon R.I.P Peter Allen Xxxx
When he left the stage the world became a cold nad lonely place for his fans still miss him and the music all these years later. Wherever he is right now the place is rocking and crowded with happy people. Seems so unfair to lose someone so great way to soon. Seems the truly great die young and leave the world missing them.
Peter used to appear at the North Shore Music Theater in Beverly, MA for years. My mom used to go all the time but never asked me to go along. Now looking back all those years ago, I would have loved to see him perform. Did anyone see him at the Music Theater?

A wonderful performer - with a heart of gold. His body let him down far too soon!
I think people forget just how special he was. An amazing song writer and showman to the end. He is a beautiful man, much missed.
