The great Mehdi Hassan Saab was the synonyme of soft, soothing, and soulful music ! Professionalism, Perfection, and Sophistication in performance was the hallmark of the great Khan Saab ! His style of gayiki was pretty simple, soft, effortless, soothing, and soulful but overbearing and very difficult to emulate ! Besides, the great Mehdi Hassan Saab had something divine in his voice, which had set him apart from other singers ! He had given ghazal gayiki a pedestal, which will be very difficult to surpass ! Such a resourceful singer will ever tread this path again in the world !

The way he rendered ghazals with great mastery was absolutely out of the universe and totally divine and incomparable. Indeed he has taught all the ghazal ustads with great mastery, 'how a ghazal can be rendered so lively'. Besides this, he was a very good man who lived a very simple life.
