Thanks for the detailed rundown, guys! I picked up the Adderley 1972, Waldron/Lacy, Yusef Lateef, and Sonny Rollins. All on CD. Also snagged the Reel To Real Pepper Adams release at my local store.

Okay I picked up the Mal Waldron, I can't say enough great things about that one what an amazing release! Listening to the first track of the Yusef Lateef, man these guys are absolutely burning, Kenny Barron is hurling post-Coltrane poly-pentatonic side-stepping across-the-barline phrases at the audience with reckless abandon.

Art Tatum - Already ordered the 3 LPs. This past year, I also picked up the massive, near-mint Pablo Art Tatum box set. Find more; each has raised the bar in overall quality.

The Sonny Rollins concerts as a bootleg, has been extremely beneficial to many young musicians. Especially drummers. Many that might surprise you.

I know you weren't into the Jack Sheldon Chet Baker album, but if you get a chance check out the fantastic Curtis Counce Vol 1, Landslide album, Jack Sheldon absolutely burns on it.

Hi Ken so many good Jazz Records, but I have to mention that we here in Europe don't get a chance to own one of this record. I would like you to put some awareness, if we should get a chance to buy 1, is by releasing more, and not only for the USA. Thanks for Now

Yes, I know this. But you all get things we do not get. Such as three Bill Evans records coming out in the UK but not here. Don’t cry over spilt milk.

Swedish label Dragon never edited any bootleg ever. Second, I have the original Sonny Rollins's editions on LP and CD for 40 years. This is written March 2 and 4, 1959. Where did you see 1957 ? It seems that Zev doesn't know this either. Now, this is said.

I’ll take Zev‘s research and the 50 or so people who assist, including the Sonny Rollins estate over a bootleg label any day of the week

@@kenmicallefjazzvinylaudiop6455 The first live in Aix-en-Provence with Kenny Clarke was a bootleg for very sure but it sounds was very good. I bought the CD when it came out in 1989 I think or 1988. I'm very happy to compare this one with the new one.

Here’s a good one for you. All about jazz website had a write in ballot of the greatest jazz saxophone players and the results had 164 of them. Sonny Rollins was not on the list. there must be a disturbance in the force.

Very typical Jazz journalism. So many have never made the "polls" including 1st call bassist of the last 35+years, Peter Washington. The day Dexter Gordon died, there was a sentence about it in the New York Times but a huge full page story on David Murray. Some things never change.
