- Happy Canada Day!!!!!
Just had a lot of fun writing this and recording it with the Northern Pikes! It came about on a car drive home up highway 400 when a song came on and the lyrics were: "My hair's turnin' white
My neck's always been red
My collar's still blue
Yes, you could say
We've always been
Red, white, and blue"
and I always thought - hey wait a minute!!!! This was the top 20 CANADIAN count down - no F'in' way!!! so I wrote "I Am Canadian" while driving home and then took it to the boys of the Northern Pikes (how fitting!) and we came up with this little ditty celebrating Canada! ....L

Great music les, it's a shame Canada has voted in a leader like Justin that has rapidly tried to remove all the freedom Canadians have worked so hard for. I hope we vote in a new leader that can reverse all the damage and bring more freedom back. I can see the states are suffering with it too, Im older but I am scared for our youth, they don't understand what is being taken from them, I guess that's why they are trying to get them on their side in school so they don't recognize what they've lost, like we recognize what we have lost and are losing. Our children won't even be able to own a home at this point 😢. Oh Canada I pray for the freedom to be let free again!!
Hey dudes just so you know the every day Canadian is an awesome and full person whether or not you agree with their political views or level of control, I’ve seen great municipalities in Canada and not so great ones on bothe the redblue/blue side of Canada, but I’ll refer from displaying what I believe because it usually doesn’t go well either side,but I love being Canadian, I live in the US and was born in California, and have lived in Montreal and Toronto before for periods and I’ll tell you there’s a genuine essence
