Benedict is one of the good characters in the series. He's excellent as the down-to-earth detective uncovering the story with a boss out of Game of Thrones and some interesting castmates.
i only know him as Wong in MCU...but gonna say he is really good in 3 body problem. really happy for him.

The series was the first time I have heard his real accent, I knew he was brought up in the UK but all the roles I ever saw him in he was speaking with an 'Asian' accent!
This is hilarious to me because I've only known him from the MCU films/The Martian, where in both projects he speaks in a generic American accent. So when I started watching 3BP and first heard him speak I thought "Yeesh, Benedict my man..........That is the bloody WORST, most forced British Cockney accent I ever heard! Fire your accent coach ASAP!!!" 😂😂😂
And now hearing that this is his REAL ACCENT, I'm just like.......wait, what?? Gtfoh bro!!! 😆

People really aren't ready for the implications of this series. Hopefully, they adapted it well.
None of the people on that set will even watch it.
We will have two more year, season one was not mind bending and no big new philosophical implications so far at end of season 1 (end of book one)
