We rescued 4 elephants from the elephant camp at Kanjanaburi - Fhan Dee, Arun, Rudee, and Yanee. Yanee, the youngest and healthiest elephant, travelled to Samui Elephant Sanctuary for responsible care. The other three were on a long journey to Elephant Nature Park.
Fhan Dee, the eldest elephant, had collapsed a few days before rescue. She had been unwell for awhile. We were concerned about her strength for transport. She received fluids and vitamins for a few days prior to travel, and the same veterinary care enroute to our project. She was watched very closely.
Upon arrival, after unloading, all 3 elephants received a health status check by the vet team in the quarantine area, and we let all three elephants rest.
We are certain that our environment at Elephant Nature Park will will proffer more positive energy to all of them enabling a return to mental and physical well-being.

I am in tears knowing how they suffered. It brings so much comfort to know they will now be cared for and given the proper nourishment and healthcare. It was so touching to watch them communicate with each other during the trip.

Scary. 😭Tell me, is there any program in Thailand for schoolchildren, for example, to explain to the younger generation at least that it is impossible to mock living beings, that it is a sin, that it hurts them, they suffer both physically and morally? 🙏

All the greedy, selfish people rolling around in their money every day like miserable pigs, wondering why their lives are so empty and pointless, when they could use what they have to do good and be fulfilled.
