Reeds Gap is a wonderful place. I love to camp there, right along Honey Creek. And a great place to take a bunch of papers to grade. Thank you for taking us here Cliff.
Love your videos. Use to camp here alot. There used to be a historical marker at the sawmill dam. It stated that the sawmill equipment was moved by wagon to a site in west virginia.
You ever come across the extremely rare RUclips channel that has content so good that you hope to find many years of videos you will be able to watch? This channel is exactly that! Phenomenal job! I am thoroughly enjoying working my way through all of your videos. My wife enjoys them as well. We're eating pb and honey sandwiches now, too! Ha! Keep up the great work. Enough gabbing....
I enjoy all your walks Cliff so peaceful and would be great to spend a night or two at most of the places also. Its nice to be out in the great outdoors experiencing these places and are there for all to enjoy. Better then being in the hustle and bustle of the city. Give me the country areas anytime. Keep these videos playing great entertainment!
That was fantastic Cliff. Beautiful creek there and to top it of that beautiful stonework wall it was just gorgeous. Those short videos you mentioned was lovely remember you can’t please all of the people all of the time. Thanks so much for taking me along and please stay safe
Your videos are great! enjoy every one of them. We were just at Sinnemahoning SP in Cameron County. Saw the Austin Dam Ruins and the paper mill, too. Also I watched a video of the Fred Woods Trail (near Driftwood, PA). Have you ever been there? The rock formations on that trail might be something you would enjoy!
Cliff, I enjoy all your videos and the ones people were giving you crap on, were great!!! They are yours and do as you please!!! Thanks...Peace!!! Bill
Yes! This was an A+ place. Someone took the time to plan out the camping and picnic sites in a pleasant manner. Lovely brook and well maintained trails.
It seems like a lot of people are complaining about your videos from not having a pop or not spending enough time at places. I enjoy these videos cause there relaxing and with school I dont have the time to do this stuff so thanks for bringing us along
I consider these videos "teasers" to encourage folks to get out there and explore, if not Cliff's sites, then sites closer to home. When we lived in PA, getting to some of these destinations took considerable time, and we often had to scoot to get home before dark. The places we really liked were noted for a return trip with more time to spare.
I have enjoyed all your videos, Being 70 I was hunkered down and not able to get out. I have been to a lot of the parks you have been too. I used to live in Cecil Co. Md , but moved to Northern Tioga Co. Right now the leaves are turning and in about a week should be at it's peak. The culvert was most likely a feed to the mills. to power the saws. Mostly circular saws. Before that they used the Up and down saws. They were used mostly in the springtime when the streams had a good flow. Keep up the good work.
I really enjoyed this hike...i love your walks by the creeks..The sound of the water is so relaxing. Watching your videos made me start hiking/walking on trails around the area I live in western PA.
Hi Cliff, such a stunning area and those camping sections would be so peaceful, you could just sit and watch the chipmunks and squirrels - perfect. The bridges are kept up pretty nice and don't ruin the natural look, they seem to just melt into the trees until you're close to them. A very pretty place and a definite place to return for an overnight camping trip. Thanks for taking us along, much love. xx💖
Campsite #5, hope you get to enjoy soon! This was absolutely beautiful!! The sound of the creek so calming. That was beautiful stonework. Little piece of heaven you found. I appreciate all you do for us Cliff. You have done alot of hard work showing us all the State parks. I have seen so much beauty through your videos that I may never get to experience otherwise. Thank you so very much!! Take good care.🥰
Beautiful park!!! If I lived close that would be one of my favorite places!!! I love the creek with it's lil waterfalls and the campsite that you picked would be the campsite I'd pick too!!! Great video Cliff!!! I enjoyed this hike,Thank you for taking me along!!!
That park was always packed full all summer long until those jerks shut down and now removed the huge concrete swimming pool because ya know our state don't have a few bucks to throw into maintaining our state parks. I have been extremely irritated with PA not keeping up our mountain roads and state parks like them draining Penn Roosevelt and not fixing it, that was a beautiful place.
Nice State Park one of the best loved walk along the creek with the light filtered threw the trees Don’t let the people who complain about the parks upset you do a fantastic job going to all these State Parks and showing us their beauty Thank you so much
Spent a lot of time at Reeds Gap, there used to be a big swimming pool with a shower house just as you enter the park on the right we would ride are bikes out to swim when I was a kid i only live a few miles away fished Honey Creek many times as well.
Another beautiful area. I see why it gets an A+, babbling brook, clear lovely woods, nice trail and lots of camping/picnic spaces. It's hard to imagine people who don't have debilitating health issues just sitting around watching TV or playing video games when there are wonderful places to enjoy outside.
Sweet little chipmunk. This was my favorite park so far. Probably cause it looked like my childhood stamping ground, me and my pointer, Spot. Didn't know how blessed I was at the time.
Any place you go is beautiful to walk thru. The one thing i love is just to look at what nature has to offer. That makes for a good video. I know you think so too Cliff.
Suggestion have you thought about having a photography showing of some of your beautiful pictures of the trails and wilderness. Are even selling some of your beautiful pictures that you take? Just an idea
Anglers looking for autumn trout in Juniata and Mifflin counties might also want to consider the small freestone tributaries in the Honey Creek water- shed near Reedsville.
Cliff l love your videos just the way they are! Lol. Has Cliff commented on the hiker that was killed by a bear in North Carolina? Crazy but I'm always almost expecting a bear to charge in one of these videos. Anyway Pennsylvania is beautiful keepem coming Cliff!
@@thewanderingwoodsman7227 do you carry bear spray? Are you ever somewhat apprehensive about being deep in the woods hiking. I enjoy watching your videos very much as I would not go.
I enjoy your videos, you need to come to southern west virginia and explore our beauty, did you ever find those paw paws, haven't had one in years, however I did plant 2 paw paw trees this spring, can't wait to have the yummy fruit again...
They sit at home and you are nice enough to take them along on a visit to State Parks ....and they complain because you did not pay enough homage to it? Welllllll....tell them to get off their behind, make their own video and show us their version! Maybe we'll watch it....maybe.
Splendid dear watson
Just went camping there about three weeks ago. Was a great time. Beautiful area.
Another enjoyable video. No trash or tires. Definitely a plus here
Reeds Gap is a wonderful place. I love to camp there, right along Honey Creek. And a great place to take a bunch of papers to grade. Thank you for taking us here Cliff.
Cool site. Thanks for the video.
Been to Reeds gap many moons ago. Many childhood memories here. Swimming, hiking and picnics with family.

OMG you were in my backyard again Cliff. I grew up in Milroy the town right before Reeds Gap.
Grew up close to here, we came here all the time..brings back memories of the pool/shower house. Beautiful place.
Nice. Thanks for showing the map. I get many ideas of places to visit from you!
Nice park. I liked the chipmunk. The squirrel missed out on world fame.
Don't mind the moaners Cliff

Who is Naomi...how much and what types of wildlife do you see?i see some in your videos but doesn't seem like much you have really neat videos 👍
Do ya ever, off camera of course, jump into a pair of shorts and a tank top and lounge around in that most inviting water? Oh Lordy I would!!
