I used to, but two things made me stop. It gets so dang hot up there, and the alcohol fumes build up. Keeping the ac on helps with both of these issues and I haven't had any contam issues yet.
@@Secret-Forest-Mushrooms great to hear that. I live in the philippines where it's VERY hot and I always turn off my ac when working. Gonna try leaving it on this time
Not yet. I should have waited to buy the cultures. It's too hot at the moment and I'll be starting up again in a few months. Planning to do cordyceps this winter even if i have to buy new cultures.
Cool. I start with no flow hood to save money. I got 80 % contamination. That was not good idea. Just received my 2x4 feet flow hood. !!!

Yes, central air is connected but it still gets hot. I am experimenting with which mushrooms I can grow and at what time of year.
