Warlock has several cards that can disrupt this deck. But the deck doesn't need to be disrupted think of it like any other OTK. Kill them before combo no worries. Pretty much identical to Quest mage just different class and different flavor. my deck is actually in my opinion a better list than Thijs here and I can still lose to cubelock when it sets up properly.
I like how people complain that Shudderwock was "always in their last X cards in deck" when they made the decision to play a deck where you must draw 1 specific legendary every single game.
I don't think the deck is extremely broken, and I really think the worst part about the deck is the horribly slow aminations that play when you play shudderwock. It makes losing to the deck feel much worse than it actually is.

nerf would be on registering battleries, Each next copied shudderwock can only copy original battlecries , not the echoed ones from other shadderwock, or by limited type of battlecry to repeat.
I added Glacial Shard and Brrrloc to this deck.. basically then enemy is frozen the entire time as well as killing them with the lifedrinker.. plus it helps keep me alive longer to set up the combo
I play shudderwock in wild with yogg, it's a lot of fun. But indeed people have to play shudderwock this way, it's boring and not fun to play against. People don't even try other battlecries and go straight to this boring sh*t.... -_-
4/0 against Shudderwock with Cubelock. As long as you keep pressure, you will usually win, since them having the full combo on turn 9 is very unlikely (usually with the overload they can't even play Grumble in time).
i can do it on 9. Just more draw cards - even draw with battlcryes is ok - becouse i will destroy both decks. but i dont need deck at all - when i play it.
All they have to do to break combo is change saronite chain gangs battle cry from summon a copy of this minon, to summon a 2/3 taunt saronite chain gang... theres no combo anymore and it cant go infinite like this
In my opinion this is the same as OTK mage it just takes longer and heals. The main issue I have is that the game has removed Iceblock AND Dirty Rat which are 2 of the best counters to this strat. The lead developer said that they are looking into cleaning up the animation so it doesn't rope your opponent but I don't think it will be functionally nerfed.
I know everybody hates on Jaws & Claws but I really like shudderwock as a card. The animations are too long but a combo control shaman thats actually viable is something this game desperately needed.
Although this deck has slow early game as long as grumble and shudder are played it is a guaranteed win as long as the opponent has no lethal spells, not fun to play against
The problem isn't Shudderwock. The problem is SARONITE CHAIN GANG on this deck. If you play Grumble and Shudderwock, he will not back to hand (in case, if he's the only minion on battlefield). The problem are the copies of Shudderwock (created by SARONITE CHAIN GANG). They will nerf SCG, not Shudderwock.
of course i had to play shudderwock. i like non-aggro shaman, and it was the only legend in the reveals i was excited about =) my monstrosity is nowhere near as refined as this tho. i don't have the epic elemental search guys. and don't want to craft them
I beated this deck every time I played against. Yes It looks fun and op but if you don't remove the board its gg. I'm having a good time with baku druid. Probably when they use another combo of battlecry will be better but its too predictible now
I hope so, even when you play this dude you get bored watching the animation. But tbh i don't think it will be that usefull, when i finish my games with this deck i usually have like 5 more shudderwocks in hand and a bunch of mana left, so i will just use them all and it will be the same result ...

This deck is like expodian mage, but it might not kill you in one turn. Everyone played exodia too when un'goro came and said its op, but nah Cube is still the king with paladin/secret mage and combo priest
MDoorpsy How hearthstone is designed, card effects must be shown so players know they have resolved. Blizzard cannot address the animations without nerfing the card. They have created a no win situation.

I'm playing Odd paladin right now, pretty fun deck. I don't have any money to throw at card packs but with the few cards I have i've been moving up the ladder quick.
I got it as log-in, a lot of people would have been happy, but im a lvl 7 shaman (total lvl 240) so I DE'd it also got grumble on the same day, but I refuse to play shaman
Its not that this deck is op, its that this is first deck that could be used exclusively for griefing. If you dont put in life drinker, suddenly youre clearing the board every turn, or freezing everything, but without doing any damage, over the course of a few minute animation (ive seen as long as 10 minutes already) All youre doing at that point is wasting your oponents time, this card needs a rework.
I was so looking forward to this expansion, saved so much. And now I never want to preorder, and keep facing this fucking deck at least once per 3 games. I can't even experiment with decks I WANT to play because of this thing popping up so often, demanding mooneater hunters and other 'cancer' decks just to stand a chance. It really sucked the fun out of the game after so much hype and it demands a long break from hearthstone until it's fixed.
I prefer Toast's one, with the brrrloc, your shudderwock freeze all enemies and it allows you to save yourself so you can play more shudderwocks next turn and keep the board frozen on enemy side ! :p
This deck is broken but easy to mess up, today with my quest Warrior I win against this deck because my opponet play Grumble with full board and he can' t get his Shuddenwock for infinte value
I don't mind this deck too much, at least I don't die turn 4/5 against cancer aggro, which has been the case for 70% of my hearthstone games since I started playing in beta
The deck is not any more broken than previous decks like raza priest. You draw all the combo pieces in the right order you win, you do not you lose. Early aggression overwhelms the deck. The problem is how annoying the deck is. The shudderwock's quote and animations take too long. Turns can go on for days. Normally a deck would not be nerfed for being annoying, but at this point Blizzard should to avoid a pitchfork wielding mob at the HQ.
you don't need to collect them in hand, you can just play them, of which a lot of the pieces give taunt minions heal or 3 or do 2 damage and create a big taunt minion. It's easier to stay alive with the rain and the volcano aswell.
It wouldn't be so bad if people would construct their own decks and not copy. Blizzard doesn't seem to favor skill anymore and is just tossing us crap for easy play. Idk about u but i enjoy stomping noobs but good ol' blizz favoring the weak with a "here just use this" card that is just ridiculous.

minute 12:20, he missed lethal, he just had to make 3 armor with his hero power then go face with the 2 ironwood golems, such a bad play for legend

No need to change other cost cards or mess with costs, its a simple fix with a small text change

Playing Lone Champion right after Grumble gives you multiple Shudderwocks with divine shield and taunt

They need to make it cost 10 mana, that way you need to play better to make the combo works ( murmuring elemental would need to cost 0 in your hand)
