This is a must see video for all. God does not change... he is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow... I don't see why we have to change our style of worship for the younger generation. The Bible is the same from generation to generation.

Jesus said "Go and sin no more", but if I look at the average church today it seemed as if he said, "Go and sin in moderation". I was no better, being more concerned with meeting girls at church than concentrating on the word of God. I've learned that if people aren't interested in righteousness, you cannot seduce them with compromise. All they will do is put Jesus Christ in the "friend zone".

Roy Jones Jr It's not so much American as it is African-American. I respect C.D. Brooks and all but it ANNOYS me when African-American Adventist preachers focus SO MUCH on race. When I say "African-American" I mean those blacks who trace their roots to American slavery. I am black man of Caribbean descent; my church is made up of 99 percent SDA's from either the Caribbeans or Africa. Our pastor and his wife are one of 3 or 4 African-Americans in the church and they ALWAYS bring up race. Every African-American speaker that comes to our church ALWAYS brings up race. African-Americans, even when they are admonished to be NO PART of this world, CANNOT (or will not) separate themselves from racial identity politics. As those who are supposedly pilgrims waiting for a better country not built with hands, we shouldn't have the mindset or view the world through the lens of this world. I really CAN'T STAND the black-white conference in the Adventist Church and I can't stand the focus on race by so many of our preachers.

We who are looking for that BLESSED HOPE of the soon coming of Christ ought to be preparing for that day and (in addition to our Adventist lifestyle practices) an important preparation that NEEDS to be made among us is to BREAK DOWN the walls of racial division. As Ellen White said, we need to 'PRESS TOGETHER".
If you don't believe we have too much of an issue of race among black Adventism- NOTICE how so many African-American Adventists DEFEND and SUPPORT President Obama SOLELY due to the fact that he is black. Never Mind the fact that every thing he stands for is against the tenets of our faith- so many support him solely because he is the first black president and don't like him receiving ANY criticism as president. How many black pastors have PICTURES of Barack Obama in their churches (I've seen them myself). It's not about him as a man- but we as Adventists, recognizing that this world is about to end soon, NEED to get our priorities straight.
