Very nicely done, thank you. I got into realism and naturalism by reading relatively contemporary writers such as Tom Wolfe, Norman Mailer and Truman Capote and going backwards through writers such as Sinclair Lewis, Theodore Dreiser, Howells, Norris, Zola and so on.
