  • I've always wanted one of these, and I seized my chance a few days ago to bring home this local example with a reasonably low amount of hours on it. Rough cosmetic condition but solid mechanical condition so it should clean up well. A more detailed video to come soon.

A liquid cooled Honda opposed twin? Now THAT is awesome!

It is awesome, but it is actually an inline twin :)

I've wanted to put one of those engines in a cub cadet for quite some time now. Bullet proof combination if you ask me. Nice score.

Do you know if there are mulching blades available for this exact mower? If yes, do you know a part number? I have found low-lift and rotary blades, but nothing labeled as "mulching blades". They may not even be available, but I'm asking if anyone else knows. Thanks in advance. Tom

I'm looking at one right now. The guy is asking $1500 and it includes the 38" deck and a two-stage snowblower and tire chains. Is $1300 a good low-ball offer?

How hard is it to find parts for these things? I found one for sale for $1300 with bagger and 38” deck, but that seems awfully high for something so old.

One is for sale in my area as well with the bagger - asking 1000.00 looks fantastic. Sure would like someone to chime in on the parts question.

I have one of these machines. Paid almost $7k for it in 1992. Still works well in 2020. I have a bagger that we don't use and the biggest deck. Just an fyi for comparison.

If you have a chance to then you better do it as quick as you possibly can. That Honda is 10 times the machine that crapsman is...
