I first saw Robert Barto play in Toronto at the lute competition that was at the International Guitar festival, and was, like just about everyone else in the room including the judges, dumbfounded by his (Your?) saintly playing. I feel that in my years as a student and musician, I have seen many of the best stringed instrument performers on the planet, and to this day, I am sure that he is one of them..(1988 ?). Please accept my humble thanks for such dedication and work on what is so loved.
