      @@Floridasky1977 You bought it at 9k miles and it has 10,800 now? And you wrote this in 2021 so that means you've had it 10 years and put on 1,800 miles. That's only 180 miles per year and only 15 miles per month, which is like 3.75 miles per week. That doesn't make any sense.

    Nice looking Porsche Kyle. So the first question I had - is it faster to drift around the track or to pick a clean line?

    • @OutofSpecMotoring
      @OutofSpecMotoring  5 лет назад +2

      Definitely a clean line! But sideways can be more fun...

    I like your videos. Is this a daily or mainly a track toy for you? Can you get a warranty on a 10 year old car like that? And how much does that cost and what does it cover? While I am sure it is capable, you don't see many folks tracking them, it is more of a GT than a track toy. For around $50 K a used 911 or even better a new/slightly used Camaro 1LE or Mustang PP2 would make a much better track toy and have factory warranty.
    Oh and what sort of mileage did it have when you bought it? The problem with Porsche is repair costs, that is why they depreciate so much.

      Regarding the track comment I think Panameras fall in same class as 700-series BMWs and Audi 7&8, perfectly capable and no doubt quite well handling cars but not aimed towards track-savvy people

    • @tundeukwu
      @tundeukwu 2 года назад

      @Eric I just bought one. Yes you can. The warranty covers drivetrain, tranny, suspension, and mechanical electrical. The prices depend on mileage and range between 1 and 4 years (at least with the company I got mine through). price ranges from $7000 to about $20k depending on level of coverage.

      It could have been retrofitted by a previous owner. No one in their right mind would have the original steering wheel of the 2010, and swap that to the next gen panamera. Just not gonna happen. I love Porsche, but late 90’s to around 2015 depending on the model some got them earlier all have awful steering wheel design.
