A thought, those tests you ran with Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere Pro don't come across as tests that this Laptop is targeted for. Those tests feel very much targeted towards a creative laptop, this laptop is very much a productivity laptop. I've noticed a lot of RUclipsrs seem to be missing this. Try running a large zoom meeting, with Chrome having 20-30 tabs up (some of them with a video player), word processor, power point in presentation mode, with multiple note taking apps etc. Stress test it like a productivity person. This is meant as a constructive comment. Just noticed a lot of these laptop real life tests are all focused on what RUclipsrs do, not also considering the productivity person.
I'm a linux guy, I just ordered this razerbook. It will kinda be my third razer blade stealth (left apple when they removed the function keys). I get much better battery life running linux over windows. I use PopOS or Elementary OS. Before apple fanboys ask why it's my 3rd, just because I like them. The first 2 still work great. Thanks for the build quality razer!
Do you buy the Razer Elite care usually? Have you ever had to have to have warranty repair and if so, what has been your experience? I hear the horror stories online but it would be interesting to hear from a user that has had several of their computers. Thanks for your time.
One of three things: 1. They are heavily sponsored (Pretty sure this is the case as well, but the others youtubers will only hear what Razer tell them to say and just say it to the audience). 2. They are pretty much talking about the current situation. Not that is anything wrong with that, but they know that with the current pandemic, not at look of us go outside, so they pretty much cover the basics. 3. They go for the specs/theory but not the actual one, they only talk about the "best scenario" instead of putting all of the products to the test. Sorry for the bad English.
Exactly. Performance isn't everything for me. I like those nice quality of life additions, like good chassis and build quality, speakers, keyboards, etc
@@__osinachi To me, forgetting the price for a minute the important things are: Battery life Build quality Longevity (how many years will i get out of it) Will it do the things i need like Surfing, media consumption on the go, social media bits and bats, Meme making (i like to meme, don't judge me lol), things like chat ie discord, zoom? facebook messenger calls ect I don't need to game on a small laptop as i only game at home and i built a rig purposefully for gaming. Anything intensive i'm doing at home anyway as i don't travel often but to have a laptop i can use around the house that doesn't weigh much, doesn't need to be charged every 5 minutes and is more to the point reliable is far more important than having a 3090 and i9 for the very rare occasion i actually leave the house.
@@donniedarko464 No. I just ended up getting a big phone instead and using my desktop for most things. Considering maybe an MBP14 or the ne m2 macbook air but they're pricey as hell at the minute so maybe later in the year when sales are on.
A Great point to point review 👍 Should I buy Razer 2020 Base Model with i7-10750H 2070 maxQ super ($1899) which comes with 512TB SSD + 16GB RAM or Razer 2020 Advanced Model with i7-10875H 2070 maxQ SUPER ($2399) which comes with 512GB SSD + 16GB RAM A quick question, I play games like overwatch, apexlegends, Dota2, league of legends and some latest games. I also use the laptop for adobe cloud nonprofessional usage like photoshop, ljghroom and premiumpro . I do highly appreciate your input in above matter. Thanks
But do you think it's the laptop you will carry for your trips, I feel like you won't have any problem using that 3080 at home, but in the go, it might be a little short of power or not?
I’m planning on buying this, I’m looking at the i5 model, just worried about the matte display not being as nice as glossy when displaying stuff, what do you think?
dude I bought by Razer Blade 15 earlier this year and i know it’s more powerful than this thing and all but damn, this Razer Book looks sexy as hell 😂😭
I really hope one day they use the word Razer as the logo instead of that hideous snake emblem. Continues to be an eyesore on all their otherwise beautiful non-gamer looking hardware
PredatorNet gamers =/= heavy “gamer aesthetic”. Their Razer laptops just like this one prove that. At the end of the day the logo is just plain gaudy. The rest of the hardware is beautiful and clean
@@extra4542 If you think this is gaudy check other gaming laptops or peripherals. Razer has one of the cleanest designs, and you can't ask them to change their logo, that's like asking Apple to change to a full one because a bitten one would probably be rotting 🤨
PredatorNet I’m literally saying Razer’s stuff isn’t gaudy EXCEPT their logo. And they ALREADY have a logo without the snakes, just the name. I’m not asking them to change anything, just use the other logo. Also, that Apple example is stupid bc obviously not all logos are the same. Some are modern and clean, and some are just try-too-hard ugly.
I have had 2 of these, had to send them both back. The speakers with the THX software enabled are just terrible. The right speaker buzzes/vibrates at most frequencies, same on both units. The first run experience is also not the best, still not sure why in 2021 Windows laptops ramp up the fans so much when going through the Windows setup screens or in general use. Apple MacBooks even Intel CPU ones are usually whisper quiet all the time. If Razer had fitted the Blade Stealth speakers to this, it would be a totally different laptop and be a really nice device to use daily.
Don't buy this computer. Ever heard of battery bloat? I didn't,....until it happened. It's when the the battery expands. It's so common with them, the rep who first handled it told me the name they have for it....."THE COMPANY HAD A LABLE FOR IT, IT'S SO COMMON" Given a laptop has no space for expansions to begin with,...maybe you can imagine the damage this can do. Disabled my track pad (unusable),...the bottom of the laptop looked like it was smiling on 3 sides it was so bad. Customer services first acknowledged the problem and sent me a prepaid fedex label. I'm thinking,....good job,...they're going to fix their product problems. Today,....I got a email listing $630 worth of problems that battery caused and them asking for payment. The laptop was the 15 inch white purchased in 18...$2000+...and now they want another 630 for a problem caused by their defect. HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN. Funky laptop , might get it
Love these vlog type videos. As a coffee addict, I think you’d be the best person to do a comparison of the various available coffee machines/systems.
Will you be doing a real world review of the DJI Mini 2?
Let's hope soon.
When can we expect a full review?
Certainly better battery life than what I get out of my laptop!
should i get this i need a knew laptop and i dont know what to get
Came for the handsome guy, stayed for the engaging content 👍
Agreed 💯
He's a dapper little otter isn't he?
He’s 3 months old leave him alone
I’m thinking buying this Razer Book 13 in this month or next month for my schoolwork interior design, are this laptop suit for me interior design ??
Coffee...check. No plans on buying a laptop anytime soon but love the format so I'm here.

honestly the m1's r polly better, but as far as window goes this is always a nice option. price does hurt tho, but a lot too like.

Anyone know where to get his wallpaper? Looks really clean lol
I think that’s the default wallpaper for Microsoft surface book 3 so I guess you can find that on Microsoft website

Can i ask which is better for coding/ graphic design this razerbook or the macbook air m1 ? for the ones on a budget!
That super ultrawide monitor, though..
Does the touchscreen have some stylus Support?

This laptop seems just amazing, and such a great video dude.
I think it would look a lot more classy if they put their typeface logo on the lid instead of the "Triple-Snake" logo.
Wooo! TheUnlockr, Unlocked this one!!!! Looking forward to this review. This laptop excites me...
Yeah thunder port 4 in decoder
Does it have a rgb keyboard? I do not care for one but if it had it would be good
Yes

Did he say enjoy your drink and u said YOU TO ?????
Oh, you lost me at the $5+ cup of coffee. Jk, if you got the cash, then enjoy.
Why didn't you test any games?
Because it's very much aimed at non-gamers. If you want to game, buy the stealth instead
