Nah most experienced monster Hunter players say you should do exactly what she did and try them all in the practice range to get a feel and find one or two that click with you early on.
I really appreciate our new era of Calli who isn't afraid to go into the testing grounds and just mess around to figure things out for a while (To be clear, this isn't new as in new this year)
While I never made it past the weapon testing since I had work in the mourning, this is one of my all time favorite games. Can't wait to watch the rest of the vod. I hope she enjoys the game!
3d Mowi playing World was a moment that made me pretty happy and it was nice to see that she was hype to play it again. And while she made A..... Beautiful monstrosity, I can at least be happy in the fact that she did gush about the fact that she made Tutu which was adorable. Although the fact that Tutu went and hugged Handler was a bit uncalled for, hearing RE6 Leon was a oh right Matt DID voice a character in this game. This game still looks really beautiful even after all these years later and I do miss that this had a plot, although the characters didn't have names until the Stories games and Rise despite Rise not really having a plot. Regardless it's great to see Calli played this game and I know that a lot of people don't like handler but I don't really see that much of an issue with her especially if it's because she takes all the credit for what we do because everyone else basically just stands and does absolutely nothing and expects us to do all the work so double standards I guess. Great stream and can't wait for more Calli!
I've watched the full 11:30 h from Biboo's MHW stream and now I've watched the full 7h of this MHW stream and all of that in like 2 days :D Monster Hunter World is just such an awesome game, interesting to watch with full focus on the main screen or in the background on the second stream. And since every weapon plays so different, it never gets old for me to watch someone else play. I have 420h in MHW myself, but I played primarily Bow and HBG, so it's cool to see the fights from a melee perspective :D I just love the HoloEN Monster Hunter arc! I really hope it's going to be a really long arc! I would love to see for example 5h+ Guiding Lands collab stream :D

I'm glad you played World. This and Doom Eternal are my two favorite video games of all time and it makes me so happy that you've streamed both. World has a lot of emotional value for me and to this day it's still my most played game sitting at around 2600 hours of playtime or more lol.

Hammer in this game is awesome ! if you know how to use it, like Mori. I'm genuinely impressed, seriously. Because I can't play with any weapon that doesn't have range XD Btw : I played this game with Long Sword, Charge Blade and Switch Axe (but personally I prefer the Charged Blade - a weapon for almost any situation)

I'm so glad EN is catching the MHW bug! I have had a ton of fun returning to this game to finish up Iceborne and I hope I can see EN tackle endgame someday. Oh and Mori, you should learn to flinch shot monsters into walls. It deals 2-3% of their total health and knocks them down for follow up damage. You need some slinger ammo, clutch claw to the head, slap it around with B until it faces a wall then hit LT to launch it. Note: this only works when the monster is not enraged. You can tell from the icon on your minimap because the Eye on the monster will appear red instead of a calm yellow. This can really help you and the team punish monster openings HEAVILY and will be a god send against the more tougher fights later down the road.
Seeing you trying out all the weapons makes me wanna go back and learn to use some of the weapons that I never touched. Thank you for the stream Calli!

You're already pretty good so I don't see any problems going forward - you'll learn quickly what you need to do, and let's be honest, hammer is pretty simple, there's like 5 different main combos lol.

Besides the MH4U demo, MHW was my first full fledged MonHun game and it was when I realized just how much I’ve been missing. Really glad to see a resurgence of it and glad you’re joining the hunt. To bigger and bigger bonks!
Ffs why is everybody using guardian armor? Why would you "disable" looting, crafting and getting new equipment in an rpg? "But they played it before" Do you play Diablo without loot when you play it a second time with a different class? Do you play Elden Ring without equipment in your second playthrough? What kind of reasoning is this?

The sole reason why the game sold so much, it widen the audience to the most casual of players. I agree it does ruin the base game, but understand that the armour was added waaay later so that new people can rush to iceborn, therefore Capcom makes more money, marketing wise it was a smart move. Explains why the game sold so well, and people are still playing it to this day. I guess the thing they should of added was like a notice, this armour is 'easymode' - so then it becomes an obvious choice, of how you want to play. MH games never had a difficulty setting until now :/
